You can polish it yourself. Get a wax polish or liquid polish from any of the supermarkets and you can do it yourself. It's a little bit of work but the feeling you get after seeing your baby glistening is just awesome

May be its the prototype model. I can see difference in tail light section as well. The colors of course.

But with recent rains in Pune, believe me guys, this huge hugger is God send.

May be .. I am also from HYD. Got a quote for FZS in LB nagar showroom for 94K.

Not sure which things can be avoided to cut down the budget

Need suggestions from Xbhpians who owned the beast already on which accessories are not necessary and can be avoided

Planning to buy one, cant decide between the two fz or fzs. here fz cost 91k, fzs 93 k for cyber green and white, fzs 95k for orange and blue . saying blue and orange are limited edition, cant see anywhere written as limited edition. also fazer cost 1.01 lakh here at kharagpur.

U can skip the saree gaurd. And don't get the teflon coating done (if they are quoting for that). Do get a leg gaurd, saves you.. The mirrors are included in price (sometimes they make u fool by asking money for that). Also make sure that they give the medical kit and tools kit alongwith (it comes as standard accessory).

They are not limited edition colors. They are trying to rip you. Choice b/w fz and fzs is completely personal. I loved the red n white of fzs hence bought it, coz it looks so sporty. But some people prefer plain colors. So u can choose depending on your color likings. The cowl on fzs doesn't serve any practical purpose, its just styling.

Saree guard cannot be sold as additional accessory. As per law, a bike manufacturer has to provide Rear View Mirrors, Medical Kit, Tool Kit and Saree Guard as mandatory. Crash guard / leg guard can be sold as additional accessory.

Kindly don't be fooled by the showroom guys or shops selling vehicles.

Should I check another Yamaha showroom for price?? And can the fzs fi tuned via ecm or r15 like engine mapping systems. Also how is the sound of the bike? (Silencer) . also Interested to know about bixenon projectors for fzs fi. Will projectors harm fi system as it works from battery. Can it be started without self and kick like pushing in 5th gear and leaving clutch?? Like in pulsars ??

                        • Yamaha fzs Fi Issues and doubt

                          Hello

I have purchased yamaha fsz fi version 2.0 1 month back. Total run 1158kms.1st service dont. Below are my concerns :
                          1. Mileage is better but fuel indicator falls from 2 bars to 0 pretty soon.

2.engine sound has increased. How can u reduce the same.(as it was when i purchased the bike)

3.A small hit by a bike from behind and from then i felt bike is draging. I checked no damage it was jst a small touch at a speed of around 2kms max. :-(. What can i do for this

                          4. What air pressure should be maintained in front and rear tires.

5.Bike is geting heated up very soon.

Any good service center in bangalore. Tired of finding a good one. Please help
More tips and experiences are welcome. I think i m over worried with bike.

Fzs FI does not require a Saree guard. The wheel cover is sufficient. I got Yamaha protection plus, leg guard, seat cover and a bike cover in 91k. The first aid kit and tool kit is standard along with rear view mirrors.

Is the leg guard specific to this model or did they put a clamp for make-do fixation? What's the price?
                              Kindly post a pic.

I think its model specific. I don't remember the exact price as I made the overall deal. Pics here
