  • Re: Help required!!!!

It is a Rev Happy engine . But its new bike and you have just purchased it a week back. Dont cross the Limit of 4000-4500RPM. Till 1000kms.
    Try not to exceed 50kms/hr. Roughly 1000rpm--1st , 2000rpm -- 2nd , 3000rpm-- 3rd , 4000- 4500rpm-4th and 4500-5000rpm - 5th.

    Hope it helps.

        Hey there people.
I've mistakenly made a scratch on my new fz v2.0.
Do the service centres repair it?

I think this can be done by you. There are scratch removal spray's/ CHeck out flipkart i think around 80 % can be reduced.

          ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Dont go for speed limit rather. check the rpm Meter. Roughly i would say 1st gear- 10kms 2nd around 25 3rd around 30-35 4th 35-40 and then cruise in 5 gear there after. xbhpian's comment if i m wrong. Happy Riding.

Nice to SEe the Thread growing.

Guys.. Loudness of the horn reduces with the reduction in acceleration.. Is this a symptom of battery issues..?

Hey Guys, New issue and this time i am bit worried.
I have purchased Yamaha FZS Fi around 4 months back. Now after few months of use the bike has done around 4000kms. Now my issue is the bike gets heated up within 7 or 8kms of drive and the a clicking sound with acceleration is coming from engine.I took to service station many times everything was checked with engine oil, tappet adjuested but this sound have not yet stoped.I am really worried is it something wrong with engine.? Please help and suggest what i can do as service people are not experienced with the FI bike.

What could be the issue and what should i explain the service people. ANd if possible a good service center in BAnglore.

                      Thanks All,

That mudguard looks amazing!.. Where'd you manage to do it? Also do these mods affect the warranty of the bike?.. Sorry I'm kind of a newbie. Planning to get the fzs soon.

Done at Yamaha SVC during my second free service.
And about warranty, you can replace the original fender within a matter of minutes. just 2,3 nut and bolts. (planning to do so, in rainy season)

Good idea brother , I appreciate your thought . Do refit the original during wet road conditions , since this bare wheel is likely to lift lots of mud behind your bike . We have to be considerate to other riders , motorists & pedestrians on the road at all times .

                              Hi! All

, just wanted to ask one question.
My bike is under warranty and
Its going to be my 3rd servicing, before i had done servicing from the same showroom from where i have bought a bike but this time im thinking of servicing at nearby showroom. So is it possible to service a bike in any yamaha show room free of cost under warranty?

                                Hi al,,,

First of all I am amazed to see very low response to Fz 2.0 ownership thread, just 38 pages.. And others like Gixxer going over 198...are Fz sales to low or Fz owners not interested in Xbhp

On the serious note,,, FzS Fi is bought yesterday at my native but I am confused that bike has already nameplate no given .. Is that possible to have bike no just given after delivery from showroom or something Fishy there
