. Regarding that sound am not sure either. You can try som other authorized service center

    2. No problem with air pressure. If there is then ur ride would be bumpy.. For hot climate like chennai it might be a problem but for banglore it must not be a big deal.

    3. Always take to an authorized service center thats it..!

    4. Yes the sound increases with age its normal.

    5. This is my first FI bike so am not the right person to advise. But you can consider the point mentioned by devils_friend. Dont let the fuel dry up before u fill in again.

Change of color has to be notified to the RTO and same mentioned in the RC also.

              Ride safe and have fun.

                  • Engine swap for fzfi

                    Hi all,

Now this may sound crazy but just a thought.

I hav come across with a 250cc engine swap on a yamaha fz16 version1. Now that the version 2(fzfi) being a fuel injected bike, and there are a lot of performance bikes which are fuel injected, if i would try and swap my engine, what are the things i should consider for the search of a new engine. Preferably of a higher cc say 250 or 300cc.

PS: I had bought an FzFi 4 months back and i feel that the bike can handle more power than what is available.. I have researched about changing the sproket to attain better accleration while i give up some top end and vise versa. Looking for some insight on the engine swap idea.

                      Hi all,
My bike going for first service at 1000km in 20 days ,,,Its been a pleaserable experience till now with buttery smooth engine and very supliant ride and killer looks . i belongs to much smaller city and here these types of bikes are very rare seen .So always i get looks , ,, all things going good and very satisfied with this . Earlier thought for Gixxer but no service center here and not much confident on it since it was new in the market.

I calculated bike average on tank fill method and for my suprise ,, this bike constantly giving me 51 Kmpl,,, yes its 51 Kmpl,, i expected it to be 45. Tyres are really good in performance and looks appeal to. Tyres are now ' Rev Z ' which are hard compoud then earlier ones. As i told i am from much smaller city and fellow riders here looks as Alien bike. When I park it in between Commuters ,they all look childish in front of this. Sometimes i have to go offroad too,, some routine village trips and i can say its more comfortable than Pulsar and pillion comfort is good too though lilltle bit hard seats .
Ride quality is simply awesome and when coupled with buttery smooth engine ,, this is all joy to ride and it seems worth for every penny spend on it .

Please tell me what to look for First service like what will have to change or applied

                        Hi guys,

Since this is the ownership thread, I thought this will be right place to put my question. I recently broke my rear Fender(rear wheel huger) - It came out in 4 pieces. I want now to go with V1's fender. I've seen some posts on this thread too about the same. I asked the service center guys to do it but they said it would be an alteration and hence they can't do it. Please suggest me a workshop in Bangalore which can do the same by not damaging the bike. Any place near Marathahalli will be easier for me to reach but even if not so, it's fine. AND YES - PROUD TO OWN THIS MACHINE.

                        Thanks
The day I'll not ride, will be a sad day for me.

I think you wont need one. As everything is cover and the rear tyre hugger does the job.

Low fuel ? can you please help me with this as the reserve is 2.4litres.

Also the clicking sound i felt was from engine and not chain. I have asked service person for tapper check but that is not the issue.

EVen the engine sound has increased which i feel is not as it was even after the 1st service.

The engine sound increases yes.. Even i feel that.. Initially the sound was so silent but now the sound is audible even after wearing my helmet.

Regarding the clicking sound, do u hear the clicking sound even if u stop revving..?? If yes hold the clutch(while riding) and let the rpm reduce.. If u still hear the sound then it is not from the engine..
