Changed engine oil today at 210 kms on odo....bought the engine oil from Yamaha service centre...Yamalube 20w40 mineral oil. Post changing of engine oil, engine has become more silent and smooth. attached below the engine oil i used.
Also, does anyone feel a slight vibration when in 5th gear at approx between 3.5 to 4k rpm. its a slight vibration which is not present above or below this rpm range.

This vibration was not there in the first 2 days of my usage of the bike....it creeped in after approx 2 days. If anyone can let me know if they too have the slight vibration in their FZ v2 bike?
Also, does anyone face a noise from the back of the bile when ridden over potholes...like something is loose at the back of the bike...checked for everything and ensured seat and toolkit are fixed properly...only found that the tail lamp has a little bit of flexing(up and down movement)....thanks for the response....

little bit of vibrations at certain RPMs is common in all bikes, it happens due to something called resonance (hope you have heard of it). Even inline 4 cylinder bikes vibrate at certain RPM due to resonance, So dont worry too much about it.

The tail lamp having a bit of flex is normal, it is present so that it may not strain and break on hard jerks, like potholes and speed breakers.

Your bike is perfectly fine, so Relax and enjoy your new ride to the fullest.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

It has been 3 months now even i am extermly addicted to bike. DONe around 3200kms. regarding the noise coming while you encounter potholes is because the rear tire hugger is loose. It will be tighted after 1st service. So enjoy your Ride.

1 serious issue i encounted till now is that when the engine heats up after around 15kms or so there is a clinging cound coming for the engine. PLease help. Is it something to do with Tappet.

                        Thanks All.

I too get the same sound once the engine heats up. its the injector compression sound and not the tappets. if you observe when the engine is cold and started you hear a low whistle sound of the injectors. once it heats up the clinging noise is present. so do not worry.

my issue was that this sound was not coming during 3 months. I have done my 2nd service bike is smooth still the noise has increased a bit. I had taken Blue balck color. SO how is your experiance with the bike. I feel you are also extremely addicted to Bike as i am. Stil cleannig the bike every day:-)

I got it exact two weeks from today on a friday, havent used it much cause of the love of it, but i have been admiring the beauty of it and driving it around with a lot of pride for sure....which increases more when everyone asks/stares at it near signals , parking lots....truly lovely it. This is my 6th bike and trust me this has been the best of all the bikes i have owned so far.
I havent given her a wash as of now, searching for a good shampoo to give her a bath over the weekend.....
