      Hi all..

I have been having sore right palm when riding the bike for long distances, and also have been complaining of the same to the SVC guys on all instances of the servicing done. Every time I ask, they only adjust the handle bar but the issue persisted..

When the ODO clocked 4500 odd kms, i had severe shoulders n back ache making me approach another service center, n then did I come to know that the handle bar was faulty and fork throwing is also to be done.

Even after doing all these, at my own cost, still I gave this problem.

Also I did try to go to non Yamaha mechanics and few of my friends, they also figured out the issue quite easily.

Felt the issue when I rode my bike, but the same was not there with the test drive bike..
Strange that the Yamaha SVC guys don't figure this out..

Let me inform that the bike is in almost the same condition as it was when I tool it, never did it fall, neither did I bump into anything. Only a few negligible scratches on the fuel tank and on the exhaust that were due to weird Indian parking habits.

Please suggest the next course of action to be taken up as one of the SVC guys was hinting me of a possible manufacturing defect..

Have also lodged a complaint on their website but never did I get any call from the company..

Guys, please help me in resolving this.

      Thanks..

          Hi Ronit,

I have got this tested and the cables of the accelerator and also the clutch replaced as well. Yet I do face this problem.

Also, ergonomically bother the arms must be parallel and on a same alignment. But then, I have my left arm stretched out longer than the right.

Then the first coupon will be expired and you will have to use the second one.
Get the first service done at 400-600kms or within one month of purchase.

                          Ride safe and have fun.
                          Regards
