Happened twice now. No idea why.
My best guess is the fuel pump is not taking suction due to vapor locking or something else. Any ideas?
I had been through the same issue 4-5 times in the last 3 months. Mentioned it to the Service Center today, as part of routine service. Luckily they were able to reproduce the issue. A relay was found faulty and replaced. Cost ~ Rs.80/- Hopefully the problem stays away.

Engine can be bought from regional sales part distributer. Also if you have good relation with the dealer , they can also help. New engines come from the factory for accident vehicles where engine has broken into pieces.

Also there are many places in Bangalore where you can easily get used engines.

            Hello GUys,

This weekend i took my bike to a crazy speed in bangalore. Touched 115kmph.

Going for third servicing this weekend. Any idea about a good service centre in bangalore. Also what should i ask them to check. Still worried about the clicking sound which comes when engine overheats. Have to live with it Or a fault in engine. I was not able to convince the SRV people.

            Thanks,
            Shrikant

Avoid using any type of Air Filter other than stock. Else, engine will be screwed.
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

If you really want the sound then go for uni foam based filter. It is safer than hp or k&n (not safer than stock[emoji12] ) else just remove the inlet air snorkel pipe. Don't know if fz have a snorkel pipe..

                        Wasssup people!!!

I am getting the 3rd service done today. Service center guys are chaning oil, oil filter and cleaning the chain. What other things should I get done? I heard air filter should be changed after every 3000 KM.

Please tell me what should I ask them to update?

PS: I noticed not much discussions in this thread because every FZV2 owner is highly satisfied. Where as Gixxer guys are always complaining about rust, built quality and delivery date.

Air filter needs to be changed every 12000kms. Check the manual.
