Re: Self-Start not responding
I had been through the same issue 4-5 times in the last 3 months. Mentioned it to the Service Center today, as part of routine service. Luckily they were able to reproduce the issue. A relay was found faulty and replaced. Cost ~ Rs.80/- Hopefully the problem stays away.Originally posted by nomad47 View Post

Re: Engine swap for fzfi
Where to buy the engine? any ideas?Originally posted by bobisbacktorock View PostThere is a performance engine that is almost direct fit to Fz chassis. And that engine is also a 149cc. non other that the r15 v2.0. LC4V with 17 bhp & 15 nm torque. Only a few necessary changes needs to be made.
I did some research and came up with these pics. Hope it makes you understand what I am trying to say.

Re: Engine swap for fzfi
Engine can be bought from regional sales part distributer. Also if you have good relation with the dealer , they can also help. New engines come from the factory for accident vehicles where engine has broken into pieces.Originally posted by munavarsharfas View PostWhere to buy the engine? any ideas?

Also there are many places in Bangalore where you can easily get used engines.

Re: Engine swap for fzfi
Hello GUys,
This weekend i took my bike to a crazy speed in bangalore. Touched 115kmph.
Going for third servicing this weekend. Any idea about a good service centre in bangalore. Also what should i ask them to check. Still worried about the clicking sound which comes when engine overheats. Have to live with it Or a fault in engine. I was not able to convince the SRV people.
Thanks,
Shrikant

If you really want the sound then go for uni foam based filter. It is safer than hp or k&n (not safer than stock[emoji12] ) else just remove the inlet air snorkel pipe. Don't know if fz have a snorkel pipe..Originally posted by S Kr Roy View Posti own it for like 8 months... guyss... plzzz.... simply tell me can i use HP air filter to change it`s sound.. i am from tripuraOff the BOTTLE & On the THROTTLE

Re: Yamaha FZS FI ver 2.0: My first bike and the journey so far
Wasssup people!!!
I am getting the 3rd service done today. Service center guys are chaning oil, oil filter and cleaning the chain. What other things should I get done? I heard air filter should be changed after every 3000 KM.
Please tell me what should I ask them to update?
PS: I noticed not much discussions in this thread because every FZV2 owner is highly satisfied. Where as Gixxer guys are always complaining about rust, built quality and delivery date.

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
Hi Guys..!!!!
I'm a new comer in xFlo | xBhp.com - India's Most Popular Motorcycling/Biker's Community | India's First Motorcycling Biking Lifestyle Magazine .
I bought my darling (Fazer FI) on 10th Feb' 2015 & only 1300 Kms ride in two months. 1st service done at 371Km & i'll go for 2nd service on 15th April' 2015.
Drive my baby on highway for maximum times & she gave me above 50kmpl mileage figure till now. Will it increase after 2nd & 3rd service ??
I reached maximum speed of 107km/h on my baby after 1st servicing. Can it harmful for engine ??

Please suggest me guys ...
It's my first bike in my life ...
Please reply me guys..
