1900 Km is still far away. Switch to Motul. Then have your third free service. Use Bajaj Engine Oil for around 1500 Km. Then change it back to Motul.

Having pressure higher or lower than the described is harmful for the bike. Having higher pressure in Hot Summer can damage the Wheel (It can even burst).
maintain 25-27 in front Tyre and 32 in Rear Tyre (Solo or Pillion).

Had a small , and maybe silly question.

Why does the disc in all discover series come with the top part of it covered in some weird looking plastic?

            Has anyone removed it?

They have to justify it with bikes name disk-cover

Maybe to protect some parts from Dust or Mud. Or maybe a showcase. Maybe both. Or maybe nothing. Who knows. Neither do Bajaj.

Pulsar doesn't need it, why disc-cover?

It can be due to the Shape of our Disc Brake. It is not a perfect circular disc.
Or most probably, they added it for the looks, nothing else.

                      Another noob question.
Whats the gear pattern of the bike?

                      1down 4 up

                      or all down.

Which 150 bike currently on sale has any other gear pattern?

The earlier discover 150 had all down.

Can you confirm or deny that this one has the same?

Gear Pattern is All-Up Constant Mesh.
                            Same as Passion Pro.

So my friend is thinking about getting the disc version.... any suggestions??? I've told him not to get shine(ugh!) , which MORE OR LESS COSTS THE SAME , how are the vibes? I know about service and spares being lowest in market...
