Discover 150f will be best suited for you. It has got good power , nice mileage, mono shock, tubeless tires, body is very light and has nice looks also. All this in such a low price. Go for Discover 150f without any confusion

Was exactly equal to CBR 150r till 80km/h in a drag race. Then we ran out of road.

Guys what is your actual efficiency in 150 S & F? I am now getting below 50 kmpl. I am riding 80% highway & 20% city ride. Now vibes have gone mad & idling is improper.
Any suggestion before going to ASC?

Ya bro its happening..after 3000 km I m faced the same..Mileage of just 51 and vibe is frustrating at 80kmph..I m also riding 50km daily on highway..now I have clocked 4000 km..and waiting for 2nd service..hope it will fix it..

Guys if you're facing vibrations. .then pls change to motul.
Dtsi produces shitload of problems with engine ,whether it is disciver or ns.
And dtsi costs 325₹ per litre.
Motul 3000 costs 270₹ .
Choose well.

The Electrical system is DC. So you can replace the tail bulbs with LEDs

Hello guys, bought a new Discover 150F for my dad. The delivery was yesterday.

First impressions : smooth gearbox. I have a RTR 180 and when compared to the Apache, the gearbox is pretty smooth right from the delivery center. The engine is good at the low end which is really nice for quick overtaking. Monoshocks are also pretty comfy.

A tacho would have been cool and the front disc could have been better (IMHO). All in all a good bike for city riding.

Second service done. Payed 530 rs. Had vibes complaint, they have somewhat rectified. After all free service planned to change shell or motul semi synthetic oil.
Mileage is around 53-57 as of now.

i done 2nd service i paid 90rs for top up oil..

I had vibes issue after 1st service. So i told them to change entire engine oil. That's the major part & another one is the oil filter.

Hi Guys,

Myself Santhosh, new to XBHP.

I brought a 3 months old Discoiver 150F a week back.. he sold it at very less price 50,000 it was just 2700 Kms used.
im using it from a week but still im worried because why he sold it for that cheap.. im not able to find any major problems (as per my knowledge which is very poor).

problem is faced in a week...
-First day i got it serviced in ASC where the bike was brought (that was 3rd free service @ 2790 Kms)
-First 2 days my milage was very poor not even 30 kmpl
-At times there was black smoke from exhaust.
i took it to ASC on 3rd day where the mechanic scolded me for keeping choke ON (i relay don't know how that happened and to be frank i didn't even knew where the choke is).
-After the ASC visit the black smoke stopped completely and the milage got better i still dont know the exact milage of my bike still.
-i was usign it like this for a while
-on 5th day (yesturday) i rode other Discover 150F, which seems lot better than my bike, quicker, faster and felt relay good to ride.

=I need you guys help in finding major problem in my bike if any. please give me the list of tests i should be doing to find any problem.

here are the small problems i spotted (after ride the other bike)
-My bike throttle is very slow, there is a time lag in the throttle response.
-When i hold the throttle in a single position bike wont stay in single speed (it jerks slowly like a old BMTC bus Drrrrrr Drrrrr Drrrrr) not like Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-When i travel uphill ther is some kind of grinding sound in the engine... same as old BMTC bus Drrrrrr Drrrrr Drrrrr.
-My fuel guage dont work properly (the display show 2 bars but acctualy on petrol in tank you have to switch to reserve)

Major problem so far:
- on 4th day my fuel was 1 bar on the display but i was run on reserve. i got 300 rs petrol from SHELL and turned the fuel knob to ON position.
i rode about 15 Kms and suddenly the bike started behaving as if there was no petrol and stopped suddenly.
i tried to start it (kick and switch) both but was not able to (i tried continusly for 2 mins to start the bike but was not able to) and then i turned the fuel knob to reserve position bike started and running......
i dont understand why.... weird thing is fuel guage was showing 5 bars......


please help me to understand my bike properly.. i will be greatful to you guys....
