That is the top speed for this vehicle.

Hello friends I am Rajdip new here.I have 2.5 month old discover 150s blue colour. I almost clock 3000km..because my daily commute is about 45 km..
I am feeling that shift gear from 1st to neutral and 1st to 2nd is somewhat clunky..
and before sometime my gear paddle is comes outside when I m riding..then I go to sservice station and tightened the bolt of gear paddle..

Sir I got my new discover 150s and on the first day the engine emitted fumes and tends to turn off after a 25km constant run. Though it was the delivery man's fault that he didn't took out the first aid kit from below the airflow pipe under the seat. I am worried whether it had any impact on the engine or not, though the bike is running fine and I've made 1000+ kms already.
One more thing is that my bike isn't delivering the common mileage of 50+. It never rose above 37. Please help me guys.

37kmpl is very low for a discover...even if there is any problem with fuel efficiency...minimum should be 45kmpl...i m getting 55-60 on my discover150s...2.5months old

I got it checked and they said fumes were due to unused fuel in the engine and carburator. Everything is fine.

Can anyone tell me why the engine sound becomes more screechy and different after riding for 5-10kms at 60-70 km/h?

I m feeling the same..the sound got changed after 50-60 km/h..today when I ride it at 80km/h it produce very bad sound..also vibration is very high without pillion

As revs build up ,engine gets more stressed and sound increases.
For example a 200ns below 60 sounds like a splendour, after 60 you're like wtf just hit me ,it's so intense .

Though the unidentified sound from engine doesn't affects the performance, but it feels like the bike won't move until we increase the throttle. It feels like the bike has become throttle hungry.
Also, I've heard somewhere that the weird engine sound is due to 4 valves air intake. So nothing to worry about.
