But actually the lube is insufficient for highway rides( high speed) ,it's okay for city use. Also it doesn't attract lot of dust, it's easier to clean also, i clean with kerosene. It lasts for 1000 kilometers .Originally posted by Angurj View PostDoesn't "oil" attracts more sand particles and dust than the "lube"?

Life is too short, don't give it a second thought. Go with what makes you comfortable and that would do just fine.Originally posted by Angurj View PostDoesn't "oil" attracts more sand particles and dust than the "lube"?
Personally I don't clean the chain, I just lube it with gear oil as and when required, the excess debris flies off and what's left helps hold the lube.

Wow! That's way costlier than the variants offered here in Odisha.Originally posted by thousifkhan24 View PostI went in for a service in Aryan Suzuki Bangalore. Casually had a chat with the SA. he showed me latest price list for gixxer. Attaching it here if it could be reference to someone who are planning. But i feel these showrooms are charging very unreasonable amounts on insurance/handling charges/accessories etc. We have to be very vigilant before paying the money.

Handling charges are illegal. Insurance you can bring yourself, dont have to buy it from the dealership.Originally posted by thousifkhan24 View PostI went in for a service in Aryan Suzuki Bangalore. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yeah I was told that too. Tru is somewhere around 335 rs. per 500ml whereas Motul C2 is around 435rs. per 450ml...Originally posted by RookieRider1907 View PostI am thinking of getting it once, right now I am using Motul C2. Tru is cheaper than Motul and I was told by a mechanic friend of mine that it's a good product so will try it once I run out of my current spray.

Guys any idea on where to add spot beams and fog lamps to this bike in a way it doesn't hamper the looks?

Alright. still the modded seat looks bit bulky for my eyes.Originally posted by sandsbhatre View Postby an inch....no one felt any height difference....but complaints about slipping forward, butt aches for rides above 15 min have stopped.
Also the pillion seat has a slight curve in the middle , so pillions but doesnt move forward and theres no pressure on its tail bone.
You can see in the pics. Not much has changed looks wise.
