What you say is perfectly right but when vehicles are running on a premium/demand the dealers dont bulge one bit even for vehicles which are old its hard to get a discount these days as dealers want max cut but as you say nothing wrong in asking if we get its a good thing.By the way did anyone insist or get any discount on Gixxer till now?

Ya buddy I own a blue Gixxer but I don't think I am that morning guy !! About the colors, It really was a headache for me too... Black is hard to maintain..it was my first choice too.. But I am happy with blue.. Got a millage of 48km/l in the hefty traffic of Bangalore which is really something...!!

I got a discount of Rs. 300/-

that also my dad insisted and that was diwali day. I got my Gixxer for Rs. 83,361 /- & i'm from Pune.

i am also from pune, i bought it from shiv autoriders, telco road chinchwad..main dealer of chinchwad...it cost me 85030 rs including teflon and leg guard..

Hi,
This is a great thread and i have been following it since it was 5 pages small.

I am also from PUNE. Bought black gixxer from Shiv Auto Riders Kalewadi phata Branch(after taking 3 test rides & visiting 5 suzuki showrooms !) for 83860/-.

Bought on 14th Oct, got registration on 4th Nov that's when i started riding it.
I will be going for first service(mandatory to do within 30 days or 750~1000kms whichever earlier) next week.

There is a minor sound coming other than engine sound when i am riding at 1st or 2nd gear at low speed. Not sure if its normal. Do you also face this issue?

A little more detailed description of the actual sound would help. Where is it coming from and how does it sound?

I think that sound is normal...he must be hearing a bit whistling sound from his bike..
and my chain part which is connected to engine is making sound again..idk what to do with that?

I bought It from Bhaiji Suzuki Showroom in wakdewadi, that was diwali time buddy so they were in rush for deliveries of their bike. Yeah I think it was the best price on insisting they deducted 300 from name plate and I haven't installed crash guard yet.

Guys..Does Gixxer come with front mud flaps? Dont want to see the dirt settling on engine and my jeans.... and how well does gixxer perform with respect to mileage?? I would be more happy if it comes around 45 -50 kmpl...

Mudflaps i dont think so.With regard to mileage fellow members have got ranging between 40-55 kmpl based on sane riding some others have ripped this beauty have had like 30-35 mileage depends more on how you drive your style treat this baby well you will get good returns

True.....I have completed 130kms on board and I ride my gixxxer below 4.5k rpm I guess my bike is giving around 50-53kmpl.

today i got my bike serviced at 372 kms after completing 30 days of buying
engine oil used was 10w304t costing 285 rs
that's scotter engine oil i guess??

I don't know if it's scooter oil or not. But it definitely isn't the recommended oil for the bike. Either ask the ASC to change it to recommended grade. Or simply put up a complaint in Suzuki website along with your bill copy of required. They will do the rest..
