Guys, First of all congrats to the Owners of this fabulous bike!!
Soon I will be booking one, till then I was keenly following this thread.

One thing I noticed, in Pune the website says OTR of 81,900 while showroom guys sell at 83k...should there be any difference??
I read in one of the post where a owner from Guntur was tricked by the showroom guy claiming its price to be 87k and then came to 83k. Does that mean I should be getting at 81900?

Also can you give me some more tips or suggestions before buying this bike??

The OTR is the final price that you need to pay to take the bike. You may need to spend a few hundreds more in case of smart card maybe that would be all.You are well within authority to question the 83k tag quoted by the dealer check for a few things like this quote may include accessories teflon coating extra warranty if any some dealers even charge for number plate some give it free check out all aspects. You can ask for the break up of price if dealer claims this to be cost of the bike complain in suzuki site as OP did and he will be taken to task.
With regard to tips/suggestions always do a TD of the bike before you buy it check for things you would need your comfort etc how much ever expert opinion you get ultimately boils down to how comfortable / accustomed you are to the bike when you ride.Once you feel this is the bike for you go ahead buy and enjoy the ride

Well, i had 2 test rides. The first was just a round around the showroom(yuck!). I then demanded a proper one, and went for about 3km. Immediately noticed effortless pull.(I didnt even realize that i was pulling a t a good click...no vibes....nice throaty effortless sound...and then the deal-maker. While taking a u-turn, i took it pretty sharp, and i could actually feel the bike pulling itself back to upright position, with hardly any inputs from me, it was just insane. I dunno, if anyone else felt this, the stability in this bike is SUPREME!!!!

A gixxer zoomed past me when i was doing around 90.I was with a heavy friend and some luggage.
The gixxer was also ridden double.I ripped my fz to catch up couldnt manage.

I have hell lot of respect for my fz(72 k kms done without any engine work and still running strong) and doesnt like the looks of the gixxer(
Though i love rear view and silencer) but gixxer has won my heart regarding top end performance.

              Congrates Gixxer guys..

As you rightly pointed test drives give you the perfect feel of the bike and its comfort. Most dealers try to keep it to short distance as they dont want you riding long and wasting free petrol if you insist on a longer drive they do give you one.I had a short drive but was very much impressed with the bike what i loved the most was the lower grunt certain bikes make noise when you hit low speeds but this was smooth and turns were awesome.Anybody who wants to buy this bike must surely take a TD or two to be utterly satisfied after all this is going to be your ride for years to come

This is the best bike in 150cc segment one can buy today but still fz looks better. Overall bike looks good but the tank is a bit small and slim, I like big and muscular tanks. I know gixxer's tank is muscular but it looks small in comparison to fz.

PS: This is totally my personal opinion as looks are always subjective. If I had to choose between fz and gixxer, trust me it will be very tough for me to decide between a bit better looks or better performance.

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith and use up a lot of fuel....

Btw i forgot to tell that they also changed oil filter again as oil had to be changed. And it was changed yesterday too as the one they pulled out from filter panel in engine seemed to be new and yellow.

What was surprising for me is that Gixxer's oil filter is very small compared to that of Pulsar 200ns...around half of its size..
