You may want to wipe leaked mess with waste/dry cloth before next run. You may be able to figure out the leaking source on the next run/start.
Are you referring to gaskets here?
Yes. I was using mechanic's jargon.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
The weak brakes may be due to the wetness of the disc pads. This can be due to water wash or oil spill on the pads. It'll dry out in two day's time under normal brake application. If it continues to be in same condition after a few days, check it in service centre.Originally posted by Rajagopalan View PostI finished off my first service today... And installed front guard and rear foot rest. And the complete bill came at 1515/-.
But after this service I feel that the front brake is slightly lagging on the initial bite.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Oh, you may not want to wipe completely, just the suspected source-points. Leave some portion(esp bottom) to give SVC personnel an idea of earlier leak[s].Originally posted by babaji View PostWill do that tomorrow before going to the svc. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hope there isn't any oil on the disc. If so, clean the disc with soapy water and things will be back to normal.Originally posted by Rajagopalan View PostI feel that the front brake is slightly lagging on the initial bite.

Ops, the footrest seems to be connected to the swingarm! Hero Puch days are back [emoji13]Originally posted by Rajagopalan View PostSome snaps of the footrest
Anyways this seems a 'jugaar' by the ASC, not a genuine solution from suzuki.
PS: Thanks for sharing pics.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
It seems too low to be of any use; have you got anyone to try it? Also, it's connected with swingarm - it'll move with it!Originally posted by Rajagopalan View PostThe foot rest goes into the same slots that hold the Saree guard in place.
The foot rest is a separate unit.
It costs at 180/-.
Done at the same showroom where I got my bike delivered
