Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
congrats!!, aand did u get this seat cover form showroom only?Originally posted by RahulKashyap View Post@ankur..
Its a great bike.. I bought a blue one on 21st this month!!.. Was asked to ride around 45 k rpm until first servicing which is totally cruel because this one always asks for more.. I think the Saree guard is little too low in case you are riding double it bumps on the speed breakers if you are not dead slow.. Ride comfort , handling is awesome.. And you will love this beast even more when people looks at it with lusty eyes

Yes Ankur.. Got those from the Dealer.. I am not happy with the handle grip cover though.. Its very skinny and does not matter if it is there or not..Originally posted by Ankur Walia View Postcongrats!!, aand did u get this seat cover form showroom only?
So you better get it from outside where you get to choose .. No extra fitting charges guys.. I saw one post where our bro was asked for 350 or something.. Its not even a 50 buck job.. So if you are asked for any additional charge get the stuffs and go to a local mechanic ,they will be more than happy to do it !!

No it's not normal. Please post a few more photos (a little zoomed out) so that the source of the oil leak can be identified!
Edit: Also check the oil level.Last edited by Abishek94; 10-25-2014, 08:38 PM.

Looks like the oil is trickling down from the upper portion of the casing cover. That's what I could deduce from the pic. Snap one from the top portion of the casing cover.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Firstly, put the bike on main stand and see if there is oil in the oil window.Originally posted by babaji View Post

Here are some more snaps.
The oil leak looks like its either due to loose oil filler cap or loose oil filter nut. Check these two for now.

So there is enough to go to the svc at least :P
Have you checked whether the oil filler Cap and oil filter cap holding nuts are tight in its place?
Did you give it for service recently?

Will be going for the first service tomorrow. I just tightened the oil cap, not sure where the oil nut is.Originally posted by Abishek94 View PostSo there is enough to go to the svc at least :P

Definitely the right hand crank case cover is at fault. Please claim warranty and don't take no for an answer. The packing has to be changed. That is what caused this mishap.
Btw the bolt in the last picture is the oil drain bolt. That needs to be tight so check that.
