Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Neo its an unwritten law that a litre or two of petrol will go missing whenever you give the vehicle for service be it ASC or local mechanic. You wont get refund for those they will simply say they used to clean engine bay etc etc.Its a act of prudence to always keep limited petrol in bike when its left for service.Only the amount of fuel you need to drive the bike to and fro to service centre.Originally posted by neo10 View Post

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yeah will put minimal petrol next time I give for service. Thanks! Also for others here make sure they don't give a handwritten bill. I learnt from experience :P
First bill (handwritten):
Engine oil - Rs 400
3m oil - Rs 146
Oil filter - Rs 36
Second bill:
Consumable charges: Rs 45
Chain Lubrication: Rs 112
SAI Overhalling: Rs 84
Polish charges: Rs 34

I feel off from my bike when Braking before a Speed breaker and there was a pulsar in front of me who applied sudden brakes, due to which i cannot manage brakes properly and fell off..
But Leg guard saved everything and I and my Bike managed to remain safe except that Damn leg guard which got a little scratch..
Actually bike had Halted when it fell..
But now i will keep in Mind to ride slow..

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
The average mileage I got is 51 before 1st service as I maintained <60. But now I expect something lesser as speed is constantly >80. Driven an 100 km straight and back again after 5 hrs. Nothing to complain about the vehicle except for the dirty mud loving nature it tends to develop when it rains. Other than that even in rains the braking potential is not deteriorating. And acceleration from 0-60 is at the top of its class only next to those liquid cooled ones.Originally posted by ronitgandhi24 View Postguys glad to see gixxer is picking success....some questions for the owners here...1 has any owner tried to test milage of it.... 2 has anyone taken it for long rides on hihhways or hills..how gixxer performed ... 3 is motul stock oil holding in day to day commuting....

Yes the bike is confident when cutting through traffic. Plus at cornering that too at high speeds.Originally posted by ronitgandhi24 View Postthnks buddy ..it surely gives confidence to ride like a maniac...Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I like the design of the gixxer more. I was set up on buying a fz before the release of this and one look at it and i was sold. The bike looks so muscular Fz doesnt even stand a chancr but then looks are subjective. I chose this over the 200ns too because i am not the kind of person who can live with vibrations.Originally posted by ronitgandhi24 View Postthat indeed is good effiency...buddy how you find the plastics aka build of the gixr....compare to fzs...Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.

While the gixxer is a great bike. Let me tell you, it's the duke200 that vibrates. The 200NS is quite smooth due to reduction in compression ratio and SOHC setup. But gixxer is a great bike, certainly VFM.
