Guys, The smart card, number plate, leg guard charges are extra, so that is increasing the price. Even Matrix Quote was 83K, but then I went for leg guard and the number plate from them which made it to 84K. Went on a ride to varanda ghat (Pune guys will recognize) last Sunday. Will put a separate post with some pics in some time.

Last Sunday went on a short ride from Pune to Varanda Ghat via Saswad, Narayanpur, Bhatgarh Dam, Bhor, Neera Deoghar Dam and then onto Varanda Ghat. Total drive was around 240 KM round trip.
Here are some snaps, as I was more interested in the drive and how the baby performs, did not take many pictures.

Take some rest and enjoy the view.

I drove in the recommended band of 4K and below, max speed of 60kmph.

    Observations:
    1. Bike is very balanced and steady, even on undulated roads and with potholes.
    2. Front suspension has a very good play to reduce the forces on the rider.
Once I had to do a hard braking and had to "dive" through a hell-hole. The Suspension went in and the rear portion of the mudguard hit the leg Guard assembly. One minor scratch there. I need to put some dampener there to prevent further scratches.
    3. At 4K rpm, the bike cruises at 59-60 kmph with no strain at all.
    5. Had a heavy (90KGs) pillion with me, did most of the uphills on 4th gear without breaking a sweat. Had to shift to 3rd only on the hairpins and if I had to slow down to 30.
    6. Cornering is superb, not once was there any hint of loss of confidence.
    7. No strain on the wrists (have faced it on the Apache) and on the back (faced it on Pulsar). In the return journey I drove for 100 KM with a single top of 10 mins for a cuppa.
    8. Tank was full at start, the digi bar went one notch down when the baby was back in its den.
    9. No engine heat on legs (I read some ppl complaining about this earlier in this thread)

Lots of goodies, now the baddies
    1. Horn is NOT adequate for highway driving. Need a better one.
    2. There is a tendency to get a false gear between 4 and 5, both on up and down shifts. Did some different drills. It is not happening when the bike is cooler or in the lower speeds. It only happens after, say 30 mins of continuous drive at 50-55 and then when you need to down shift and then when you up shift again. Any one faced a similar situation? Planning to take it up on 1st service.
    3. can't think of anything else, so thats that

Go it installed from the showroom, Matrix Swargate, Pune. And he charged less than what others were asking for a crash guard.

Why do you want such heavy weight stuff?
I agree that the low beam is not so adequate for night driving on highways with morons coming on high beams from opposite direction. But would not installing HiD make you one of those morons?

Have read in many car and bike forums that such kits in long term damage the headlight doom due to excess heat they generate if at all you feel light is weak I would suggest replacing with a white bulb of same wattage instead of such kits. They may serve the purpose on a short term but your damages shall be more in terms of doom melting and battery running out soon.I would personally advice you to stay away even the white bulb replacement I would suggest you drive with present lighting to know where and what it lacks then change the same. Its a simple DIY you can do anytime

Suzuki's "Contact Us" page doesn't send you a copy of your complaint to furnished eMail-ID on the page. I raised this concern every time I wrote to them.

Call their contact number @ 11-43127000
Ask them to connect to 2 wheeler department and maybe then you can register your complaint.

10w30 4t is not for GiXXeR, they have Suzuki Motul 10w40 4T specifically released for GiXXeR.

Either, SVC has not updated billing item correctly or, poured wrong engine-oil into GiXXeR's crankcase.

Either way, they need a wakeup call from Suzuki-India.

PS: Regarding UZ - Access125 is also known to be UZ-125

The "UZ" really means access 125,which the suzuki mechanic confirmed & changed the oil & filter quickly without any more questions. I checked the oil before letting him put it in,and it was same as the picture posted in this thread by someone early on.
Thanks a lot to fellow xbhpians who helped me.

I found them cheapest in Pune but still higher that what Suzuki website quotes : 81900 /-

Anyone called up or figured out from Suzuki why it costs 1000-2000 more than what is listed on their websites ?
Good to know, so many ppl from Pune on this thread..

Same here...Even I found it cheapest in Kothrud...I tried contacting Suzuki sales for the difference (83096-81900), the showroom guy called me immediately and told the diff. due to RTO, smart card, insurance ....and the Suzuki quoted no. to be generic.
Try convincing that guy to bring the value close to 81900 and let me know...so that even I will book at the same price.
Also try showrooms in Pune outskirt like PCMC where it should be cheaper by 1000 atleast..
                          Let me know...

Well i have a HID kit with 4300k bulb. Comfortable for incoming traffic. And what made you think i would be riding in high beam like a moron? In winter, with fog and high power bulbs from trucks and buses coming from the opposite side the stock bulb feels rediculously insufficient. And fog lamps are must. So if you can help me with real info then please do. Thanks.
