Hi BHPians, I am extremely happy and proud to inform you all that I have booked a black Gixxer here in Coimbatore and expect to get it by the first week of December. I was told a cost of INR 85067 without accessories.

Thanks a lot for all your inputs and help in making me pick this piece of marvel. Wish you happy and safe riding!

Ans 2 : You need to apply a firmer tap while changing gears. Also, get the clutch cable adjusted. This can cause your neutral problems and hard gear shifts.
Ans 3 : Check teh accelerator cable. It might be loose. Also, get the air fitler and spark plug cleaned/inspected. Do check the pipe that leads to your carburetor.
Ans 4 : Check the front forks, disc rotor and wheel. It looks like the bikke took a hit in this area which is causing the wobbling effect.

Headlight can be adjusted, ask your trsuted local mechanic or SVC folks to do it. I guess the Gixxer 155 has 35/35W headlight config. You can swap the bulbs with that of Pulsar or FZ in that case.
For the headlight adjustment, there is a screw just below the headlight. Use the screwdriver in the tool kit and adjust the throw. There is a play zone given there to tilt the light beam. 2 mins job, DIY

If there is no response try calling Suzuki Headoffice - 011 43127109.

I have also raised complaint online but did not get any response so I called this number and they told me that Sales Manager of my region will call me soon. Try the number, if 2-3 guys of Kolkata complain maybe they will ask the dealer to fall in line and quote actual prices. Do keep us updated.
Finally booked a Gixxer, grey colour. The dealer agreed to hand over the vehicle for Rs 79K. excluding Reg., which I intend to do myself. So, total cost would be little above 83K, & almost 2K less than what they quoted me earlier.

Took a quick test drive & felt that it is very easy to maneuver in traffic, the reason behind, could be the length of handlebar, which I think is a bit short than most of its competitors. And thickness of the handlebar is less. So grips really good. The exhaust note is directly comparable to that of the apache's.
Yes the high beam light in the console glows when you use the pass light. I've seen a complain regarding the issue here.

Regarding Suzuki's Sales & Service dept. I'm out of words! Just one mail to their customer service Dept. & the pricing issue got solved. Now's the time to wait & see how the actual dealer behaves.

Hello, could you please share the mail id to us as we also face the same problem. My dealer quotes me 88k against 83k which was mentioned in the company website.

81500. 80k was mentioned on suzukis website. I think the extra money was for saaree guard and the number plate. Didn't enquire though as i was gettting a very good deal.

Has anybody faced the problem of false neutral? When i try to shift from 1 to 2, i usually end up revving in neutral gear.
