Guess we need to do this as a part of PDI.All guys who are about to take delivery just spend a min or two checking for wheel bends before delivery so you wont have to rush to SVC for this and leave your bike.As this issue is faced at higher speeds newly purchased vehicles wont note the wobble take a min or two rotate the wheel and check this should be a one off case but nothing wrong in doing a self check as the saying goes better safe than sorry.

Just purchased new Gixxer in grey colour from pune in 83860rs. Bike is running smooth.
Also reported to website for difference in price so I received a call and they told "Sir some charges like smart card, etc are not added in our price so On road price will be different"

Salil quotations/invoice dont mention the dealer margin its an unknown figure they put on paper only the things you mentioned nothing more. With regard to Gixxer costing lesser than FZ its FZ v2 not the old FZ.Gixxer was pitted against new FZ and it is cheaper than it.

No quotation will ever explicitly mention dealer margin man. That's like advertising your profits to people, it raises too many questions.
And I only spoke of it because, being part of the retail world (garments & hoiseries) I know a few things.
In any case lok I said before, its waaaay of topic so let's forget about it and concentrate on what's important "the gixxer".

Can you guys describe your driving nature?? How much is your reading on odo??max speed??avg speed??
Do u drive rash through pits & bumps frequently?

Why I am asking is I hope Suzuki must have tested the alloys very well for above conditions...hope this issue wont be common

            Drive safe!

Salil Suzuki would have tested under standard test conditions no doubt but if you notice complaints of wobble arises when speed reaches 75 if a certain lot of alloy had some defect this issue can arise this could be an one off issue or issue pertaining to a specific lot that had this defect.

buddy do check the voltage , Ive blown my vdu/ecm twice by installing these horns on pulsar 150, thing is that these are DC electrical bikes, anything above the electrical supply unit delivers will either blow a fuse or the ecm/ dc module itself, costs 700 in pulsar, be cautious using these. afterall a blown ecm/dc module may shut all electricals of the bike or atleast the horn and digital meter light.

Guys, i have given my gixxer For first service at 900 kms, majn issue was front wheel wobbling at high speed, and oil leak from engine..svc guy told me to add supplement oil for 170rs.. Is it necessary? He said adding this oil to engine oil will improve mileage and smoothness.. And for chain he suggested me to take two sprays for 800rs nd use it every 1000 kms!.. So should i take that supplement oil nd spray?

Engine oil supplements won't do any benifit for the brand new engines. They work well with the old engines so better avoid it and spend that money on chain lube spray.

Agreed the horn is a bit feeble...but it has to meet noise emission norms laid by our government...

Imagine the dB levels; if it had been a louder horn and many such bikes stuck in a traffic.

In US/UK most of the vehicles use horn just twice in their lifetime....just imagine. This is a fact.

Avoid unnecessary noise pollution & stay safe.
