Pranav its good that you have said you will not use sms lingo. With regard to crash guard it costs only 600-700 at dealership tell him that and as far as a possible try getting it fitted at dealership oem is anyday better than after market for such stuffOriginally posted by kypa View PostMy apologies to all at Xbhp for using sms language. Thank you for the information.I had been to showroom yesterday to pay the rest of the amount and did enquire for the crash guard. They said the price is fixed and will offer no discount on it.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Wont it affect the electricals?? the buzzer draws more power than the specified amount of the phase/wire. it is probably connected with one of the indicator wiring harness/jumper.4 wheels move your body, 2 wheels move your soul .

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Installing buzzer does not affect power drain. Buzzer requires very little power and this is not large enough to cause power drains or electrical overloads unless it's fitted wrong.. Don't worry..Originally posted by Jagzxbhp View PostWont it affect the electricals?? the buzzer draws more power than the specified amount of the phase/wire. it is probably connected with one of the indicator wiring harness/jumper.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
babaji it would be advisable to avoid hid/projector for gixxer.I know stock light is weak and not sufficient but the battery capacity is not large and hence will drain soon and installing a higher capacity can lead to electrical problems and suzuki will void gurantee. Its a risky proposition

Buzzer dont eat into battery power much if wired properly.yes improper wiring can cause harm but not a big harm thoughOriginally posted by Jagzxbhp View PostWont it affect the electricals?? the buzzer draws more power than the specified amount of the phase/wire. it is probably connected with one of the indicator wiring harness/jumper.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Your bike's oil level is perfectly okay . ( Sorry to contradict you DeepakshankarOriginally posted by babaji View Post.. I was not aware that the engine oil should be full at all the times ..
) . With bike parked in center stand on level ground , about ten minutes after a ride - oil level should show in-between max and min marks ( on view-window or dipstick ) , which yours is . Both exceeding the max mark or going below the min mark is equally bad . Anywhere in-between is okay . So I too keep it just in the middle , to reduce chances of mistakes either way .

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I dont mind being contradicted one bit since it is a new engine and his service was like due post another 1000 km I suggested him topping it to avoid any unnecessary problems that may arise if this level is well and good for the next service then he may continue to use it.I stand corrected if I quoted anything wrong.Originally posted by Pinaki View PostYour bike's oil level is perfectly okay . Buzzers are like led bulbs. They draw negligible power and cannot cause overloads. However if fitted wrongly or exposed to the elements, its capable of shorting out the flasher unit and cause a short circuit resulting in blown fuses.
