Hi I am here coming after a long time.app doesn't work on my mobile don't know what reason .This is the 1st time am able to post.
Completed 1700 kms on the odo and had the 1st service at 1100 kms,I know it got late but couldn't get it on time. Gear shifts have become better and there are no hard shifts like some members expressed concern here.
My bike's 1st service was done in 30 minutes flat and the SVC guy changed oil, etc.Post the service I have ridden the bike at 100 but the concern is from 63-79 on the speedo my bike is harsh and rough. The moment it touches 63 km per hour, a swirling sound comes from the engine and stays till 74 on the speedo. But only when I cross 80 the bike gets smooth. Sometimes I feel my discover 125 dtsi reaches 80 much smoother then the gixxer. The SVC guy says the swirling sound is from the chain as its not covered but I did disagree. Its not that the bike is always harsh but I won't be riding above 80 all the time.
Should I revisit the SVC n ask the mechanic to have a look again?

      Hii friends

as I was facing the problem that my gixxer's top speed was 106. went to SVC today. mechanic told me that it will increase and after second service engine will open up. dnt know whether it is true or not. second issue was the gear shift was hard but after he made some tightening of clutch gear shift has become smooth.

This seat provides some extra cushioning and are comfortable. But there is a catch. If it rains water percolates through holes and takes longer time to evaporate. I have bought it because there is no rainy season for atleast 6 months and I have to do some long trips. seat cost 400rs

Also i changed the headlights with HID one. It is much better than the stock headlight. However it will not work if fog is there as it is completely white. The mechanic charged me 1100. dont know whether it is too much or not. The power rating written on the HID light was 35 watt which is same as the stock headlight wattage rating so I dont think there would be any battery issues. I will post the pics if you guys want to see.

That seat cover will get dirty very easily. I have seen people roaming around with those seat covers turned brown due to dust settling in the pores. Anyways, the choice is yours. Please do post pics of the HID lights.

          Hello friends

Did 2nd servicing on 23rd Jan and was charged rs 615(oil and filter 350+chain lubricant 120+ oil supp 145).

As my bike wasn't able to rev more than 7.5rpm I told SVC guys and they solved my issue now my bike is crossing 9rpm easily. And adjusted headlight and guys u must stick to stock headlights it is good just u need to adjust it properly.

Bike is still butter smooth recently did a long trip on bike to murud about 400 kms and didn't feel that bike has lost its grudge. It was still smooth and love to hear some throaty sounds after my trip when my bike is cruising at 4.5-5rpm.

            Hey guys,

So i have 2k kms and am approaching 2nd service. Have read a previous post about carburettor issues and not crossing 106km/hr on speedo.
Unfortunately i havent had enough legroom to stretch the engine that much thus far, have done only 100.

Question is i do get occasional knocking, so just wanted to know whether i have a carburettor issue, or how do i figure out if there is a carburettor issue. Iam getting a mileage of 50kmpl though.

Refreshed model? Hardly. This is not an official picture or even a spy picture. Just a cool mod that's it. I have already seen a similar stickering job on a white Gixxer.

                        Congrats to all Gixxer owners.

One qn - is there any other way to fix the front number plate?

                        Can't digest the current position.

I will post my sticker job's pics tomorrow morning. I'm not bragging but a guy with a Duke 200 said my Gixxer with the stickers looks better than the Duke. Perhaps he was just making me feel nice. Lol. Will post pics tomorrow. You guys decide.

Iam not alone who is facing this hard shifts issue if u have patience just check out all the previous pages posts man.
Posted the same thing on the fb gixxers owners club even they also facing the same issue its not the problem with the bike its the minor problem in the clutch case thats it.

Any ways after chaging the spring my gear shifting is butter smooth & i dont have to wait any more for the first service bike has completed 500kms.
