Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi, I have covered around 5600 kms on the odo and I feel the bassy sound from the exhaust has gone . This I feel since the 2nd service was done. Now its more like a normal commuter bike and I hear more of the engine noise than that from the exhaust. Really miss it as the bike's sound was music to the ears when I had bought it. Is this normal? I do revv a bit in the morning when I start the engine.
Also have noticed bit of fluid leak from the front fork. Have ridden the bike for hardly 5 months since I bought it and have got this issue. Getting this rectified at Svc will it be chargeable to me?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi Guys,
I bought my Gixxer 2 weeks back. I have alreay ride about 300+Kms. My problem is, the gear shifts are very hard. It is also making a sound when shifting the gears. It was there from the start and it is not getting reduced. Do I need to wait till my first service or should I visit the service centre now. Does it cover under warranty. It would be great if you could advise.
Thanks

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I was constantly getting 50-55. But after 2nd servicing, the figure dropped to 45-48. That worried me, hence asked them to see for mileage. The technician tuned it himself. The acceleration, sound, heating, everything is normal. Its just that I get faint vibes in the mid rpm band. Now, that I have filled the tank upto the neck, I'll have to wait till it hits reserve to find out the mileage.Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostI never got the extreme mileage figures claimed in this thread like 55kmpl. My normal mileage is 43~45kmpl and with the lean setting i got 49kmpl. The maximum mileage I got was 51kmpl.
With the performance this machine gives, the figures weren't bad. But once you know the peak, you always try to get there. The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I have consistently got. 47-49. Although I do ride the bike hard. Never seen the extreme mileage figures shown here as well.Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostI never got the extreme mileage figures claimed in this thread like 55kmpl. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Guys dont ever buy shell FS oil ax7 is much better than this shit.
Bike became over smooth & its lost the punchy feel in the lower rpms. Acceleration is dropped drastically altough the smoothness is present bikes engine felt that its struggling for breath.
Immediately drained this shit and refilled the engine with stock motul oil wasted 800rs on this shitty oil
.
Moral i learnt was never experiment with these type of expensive oils.PULSAR 180 DTSI- 2007
PULSAR 220 DTS-FI - 2008
PULSAR 220 DTSI - 2011
SUZUKI GIXXER - 2015
