Immediately drained this shit and refilled the engine with stock motul oil wasted 800rs on this shitty oil.

Moral i learnt was never experiment with these type of expensive oils.
What was the grade of the oil you used buddy?
I would suggest to always stick with motul as they are experienced bike oil makers. I will be trying a Motul FS 10W40/15W40.
Also as sandeep said, the ELF is also really good.

Thanks for the caution mate. I got similar feeling(bold letters) when I used ELF Moto Tech4 FS Oil. I thought that happened because of "Nulon Engine Oil Additive" and cursed myself for adding the additive in a Rs.700 oil.
This thing with synthetics is confusing with Gixxer as I never had any problem with SHELL Advance ULTRA and ELF Moto Tech in my Unicorn.
But my experience was good with TOTAL Quartz 9000 FS car oil and Honda Throttle FS Oil.

Guys a serious problem!!

washed my bike the other day... i splashed water on the electric starter part... in the evening the bike did not start with electric switch...i thought may be water entered...so left it to dry overnight...next morning it was fine... yesterday it was raining in the afternoon and my bike was outside...in the evening when i was about to start with electric start it failed again.... i had to use the kick...this is worrying me as how could this happen... are you facing such?? please help... went to the service centre...they said they cant say anything as the bike is dry... when the problem happens again i should visit them ASAP...any suggestions folks??

Bro. Where you splashed water? On the motor or on the switch ? If it is switch, you can remove the right side yoke & cover the connection terminals with some piece of plastic cover or pour some few drops of liquid wax from candle.

If it is motor, then you need to visit ur SVC.

Cheers...

I used the recommended grade 10W50 grade & its a JASO MA2 approved one.

With the synthetic oil the gixxer behaved very badly. From my experience never use FS oils in gixxer & i dont want to waste even a single penny for the sake of experiment with expensive FS oils.
Any body used motul 5100 or 7100 in thier gixxers?

Bro, the recommended grade Max. For gixxer is 10w40. You can try various thick cold start oils, but never go for one heavier than a SAE weight 40 at operating temp.
Meaning, try any type of 5w40,10w40,15w40,20w40...
But don't GI beyond 40, the lubricating oil gets too thick for the engine, which is the reason for sluggishness.

Thanks buddy.

Hmm..Motul 5100 I think are the technosynthase...semi-synth ones...7100 are the FS oils.
Was the shell JASO MA2 certified? Stick to oils only with this certification. Not sure if the shell was.
I will definitely be trying a MOTUL 7100 10w40/15w40, as certain sections really recommend them.
Also, I remember reading somewhere on how FS oils take time to warm up over running to actually start seeing the benefits...
Anyway, I digress. I think the MOTUL 5100 SS oil is a good step in between.
Sandeep's inputs always appreciated[emoji2]

May be bcoz of the water. This will short the terminals connected to the self start button. Even we splash water on the starter motor there is no gap for water to go inside. Just try what I said in my previous post.
