Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Take out the disc pads and rub it with sand paper then install. Also grease caliper pins using silicone grease. For the sound from chain you can use 90 grade gear oil at a slight amound on the chain. It will lube all the links. Hope this will kick out the issues.Originally posted by joe sam View PostOff the BOTTLE & On the THROTTLE

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Show the bike to another showroom to rectify it . or else a local mechanic. If no good outcome tell them to replace the faulty part. Must be a bent disk rotor or improper worn disk pads

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
exactly my problem too , I forget to cut off the turn signal after use and other motorists yell at meOriginally posted by dneel View PostYa I too was surprised with its life. I use the buzzer for myself to remember that I need to cancel the turn indicator ..
. Minda buzzers are excellent , I've never had to replace them in years and years unless there has been water entry , of course no buzzer can survive water inside it . Pic coming up brother - my camera battery is out and charging now . Actually I am just now prep-ing a buzzer to fit on my splendor+ , bought it yesterday - old one died of water .
Here you go -
Is sold for Rs 30 .
I tried to modify this one a bit by soldering a longer wire and sealing off the back with hot-melt glue .

Bro, can you share the list of items that were charged? This was exactly the quote they gave me while inspecting, when I challenged them it came down to 285, final bill was 290. Other than Engine Oil, which is around 280 and Oil filter, around 40, there should not be any more major items to be charged.Originally posted by kiran8 View PostCompleted 660kms on odo and done with first servicing they charged total 486/- . And for the first Time I rode the gixxer above 60kms
it was smooth like butter. Just loving it

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
it is not at all norman. Because, the brake is making continous friction. Thus it reduces the free revolving of front feel. So mileage and speed drops. And life of front brakes also wil get reduced. Tomorrow i am going for first service. I wil not get convinced, whatever they say, unless they rectify it.Originally posted by joe sam View Postsame issue with my gixxer to.Got mine 5 days back...today I took my bike to svc.uzz uzz noise from front disc is irritating...The guy there took some time cleaning it up and told me the sound remains and it is common and it is also there in another gixxer came for service...This is my first bike with disc..i dont know much....He tries to convince me saying it is found un all gixxer....is it?also some grr grr noise from front sprocket is there...for this also he told it is normal....is it? I also have the same sound which tends to be coming from the speedometer. Not sure. Can be from the disc also. Will get it rectified in the second service.Originally posted by Gkjipmer89 View Postit is not at all norman. Because, the brake is making continous friction.
