Right , my old one was shorted out from water entry and causing electrical problems too . So I took special care this time and fitted it myself - you can check it in the Splendor thread and give some suggestions please .

Ah yes, the DIY buzzer flasher. I saw it but didn't understand why you went through the trouble when you could just buy the buzzer integrated flasher unit. I bought and fitted it and it works like a charm, costs about 60/- in any spares shop. It is both buzzer and flasher in one and its plug and play so no extra wires or soldering either.

You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. ~Robert Pirsig

Hello everyone, I've been following this thread since it started. I always wanted to write up a post here but my tight schedule didn't allow me to do so.
But here I'm finding, out some time for sharing my experience.
First of all, congratulations to all members who got themselves the Gixxer and best wishes to those who are planning to do so.
I'm from Bhubaneswar and got my Gixxer on 13th October after booking on 10th. Since it was very new to the market then, I got it just in 3days. Now they're taking about a month or so.
The bike is awesome. Considering its cubic capacity, performance and exhaust note are remarkable. Looks stunning and makes you a celebrity on the road!
This thread saved me during 1st servicing as they were putting the scooter oil into it as I'd read about this issue here so I was alert enough not to let them do so.
Till now, the bike is giving me no problems and I'm really enjoying it.

Only one thing that I would like to know is that the headlight is totally not appropriate for the highways. Similar is the case with the horn, but I installed another one along with the stock one. So, what can be done about the light?
Also, I didin't find the speedo cable anywhere. But while on center-stand if the rear wheel rotates, the speed-o-meter comes alive. (I managed to get a reading of 139kmph like that!!!)
                Please enlighten.

The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Man, people are becoming paranoid about wheel wobbling, reported by ONLY one member here and issue has been identified and fixed. I think you shoul dkeep your worries to rest regarding this issue here.

On a side note, mates who have got their first service done - have you checked if your air filters were actually cleaned or not? I have a strong feeling mine was not cleaned!

I've ridden it today for a test drive and didn't notice any wobbling issue. Past 6k rpm there was engine knocking sound, maybe the test vehicle had less engine oil in it or roughly used by many. Also the horn was very weak .
