Salil i do agree that we need to think of noise pollution. With regard to people using less or no horn in US UK there traffic is organized and you dont have people walking on roads or haphazard driving all this happen in india so unless you have a powerful horn you cannot drive in india even when you honk people dont move

By selling oil additives, the SC gets about 300% profit. That means this additive with an MRP of 400 rupees is sold to the SC for 100 rupees.
Lube the chain yourself with thick gear oil of 90 or 140 grade.

As people above said, never use oil additives with engine oil! As for chain lubrication, he is again trying to rob you of your money. Use Motul spray which should be available for a much cheaper price in the market.

Getting a mileage of 32-33kmpl. I usually shift between 7-9k. Is this normal?

I guess so. Those are a bit higher rpms your shifting at, that's why the low mileage. During run-in you shouldn't exceed 4k rpm. Once in a while taking it above is ok.

I have completed my run in. Till then I followed the instructions provided in the manual. 4.5k till 800kms and 7.5k till 1600kms.
                              Have completed like 2200kms now.

Seems like late shift but still that's a mileage of concern.. Hope the service guys find the issue.. Keep us updated
