Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
By selling oil additives, the SC gets about 300% profit. That means this additive with an MRP of 400 rupees is sold to the SC for 100 rupees.Originally posted by Ankur Walia View Postsvc guy told me to add supplement oil for 170rs.. Is it necessary? Lube the chain yourself with thick gear oil of 90 or 140 grade.

As people above said, never use oil additives with engine oil! As for chain lubrication, he is again trying to rob you of your money. Use Motul spray which should be available for a much cheaper price in the market.Originally posted by Ankur Walia View PostGuys, i have given my gixxer For first service at 900 kms, majn issue was front wheel wobbling at high speed, and oil leak from engine..svc guy told me to add supplement oil for 170rs.. I guess so. Those are a bit higher rpms your shifting at, that's why the low mileage. During run-in you shouldn't exceed 4k rpm. Once in a while taking it above is ok.Originally posted by babaji View PostGetting a mileage of 32-33kmpl. I usually shift between 7-9k. Is this normal?
