Gixxer's each Nm torque has to rotate its 9.6 kg weight while FZ v2's has 10.3 kg.

On the bike scrapping the speed breakers, I have observed few things...
When my brother in law (95Kgs) was the rider & I was a pillion rider (72 Kgs), the bike scraped the speed breaker...
When i was the rider & my bother in law my pillion rider, the bike didn't scrape inspite of heavy pillion...
I think it is something to do with riding style, braking, deaccelaration & acceleration in timely manner...
BTW the stock settings on the mono suspension is at level 3... It feels very plush at 3... I think you can go one level higher to get even better response... I all try that adjustment in next service and update...
Coming to the gear shifts with chappals, I ride the weekdays with shoes to office.. So no probs.. On weekends it is pretty much with chappals& I have had no issues with it so far... May be I have gotten used to the toe shifter from my HH Karizma for the past 5 Yrs...

getting damn desperate to get my hands on Gixxer, got my first job in pune, will reach Pune on 13 (my joining was delayed from 30 spet to 15 oct) , and i will book it on 13 only, and will request the dealer to give delivery by 28, he was saying it will take 20 days after booking.It will also be my first personal bike, earlier bikes which i have rode are star city, honda shine and pulsars and passion pro of my friends and family. i have test ridden it here in my hometown (varanasi), and it was superbbbbb!!....loved the sound, it was just what i wanted to hear!!...it was like it was coming from my heart!!..seriously..never been in love with any vehicle like this one..Comment

I think there were many who said Suzuki Gixxer tried to replicate Yamaha FZ naked styling... I think they should take a look @ Suzuki GSX-S1000 and think where the inspiration came from.... What a beauty (Both Gixxer & GSX-S1000)
