        the showroom guy is charging Rs.780 for front crash guard. i think its expensive.
        whoever has fitted crash guard from showroom, can you tell me how much you were charged?

          Are you talking about the leg guard? I was charged 650 for it

                I would not recommend a local mechanic as this is a new bike. Better to pay some extra few hundred bucks and get it done from the showrooom.

                    Yup... Also peeped in to service area and found that they use Motul Chain Clean & Chain Lube for Gixxer...

                      Today I fixed the crash guard for Rs 700 excluding labour charges... Couldn't take snap as it was dark... Will upload a picture tomorrow clicked in day light...

                          Guys checking this page every few hours from past few days, but not finding more updates.Those who brought the bike and having fun please post pics, post details of mileage, sound, engine smoothness after first service, comfort, suspension stiffnes, electricals, mud slinging by front tyre without mud gaurd, bike scrapping speed breakers etc and any issuess if any....

                              If chain is of conventional type like the one on GS150R, then regular application of EP-90 API GL-4 Gear-Oil is more than sufficient. Today I bought a can of 10w40 Engine-Oil, forgot to take a look at GiXXeR's chain; it was parked next to Inazuma in the service bay.
