These photos are sufficient... those are definitely O-Rings between Link-Plates.

        Any other claims?

It takes few kms run before chain warms up for the optimal operation. So, don't rip for initially few kms; coincidently good for engine-life as well.

However, dilemma will always be "non-sticky" or "sticky" chain lube for O-Ring Sealed Roller Chain?

Gixxer bros: I am too in the list of to-be Gixxer owners. I plan to exchange my 9.5 year-old ZMA and get one.

Cool.. Me too came to Gixxer from 5.5 yrs of ZMA R

I changed my horn from an known mechanic... As far as I know dealers will not fix new horns.. They would start talking rules..

You can safely change the horn, and this will not affect warranty of the vehicle...

In the beginning of the thread, there was a mention that it is Non O Ring type chain... Now looking at these images, you infer that it could be O Rings...

Appreciate if you could enlighten me...

Before I hit the highway to office, I ride thru the village roads for about 3 Kms at approx 60 Kmph... Hope that is sufficient for warm up...

Hmmm.. We have shared our feedback on the bike a few posts earlier with all info that you are looking for....

Anyways, some answers for your questions...

For images, refer to my earlier posts in the same thread... I have uploaded around 6 - 7 images of my Red Gixxer..

Mileage before first service was 45 Kmpl... Filled 500Rs of petrol after 1st service... So when I hit reserve will update mileage here...

Regarding mud slinging from front tyre, there haven't been rains in chennai for a long time... So not much feedback on this @ the moment from me... Other FM can pitch in here...

Engine feels smoother after 1st service, best part is you are tempted to rev till 8K RPM...

Suspension is plush in my opinion... The stock setting is 3/7... I think we can go one level up (4/7).. Am yet to change this.. Will share feedback after I change the settings...

The front tyre does throw up mud and water at the riders foot.

Had a small trip to Antargange on NH75. It was hitting 65kmph at 4500 rpm in 5th gear. Great machine. Damn smooth engine. At one point I hit 72kmph speed and realized only when my pillion friend indicated me!!

Thanks for sharing the pics, the same is available in Bangalore the showroom quoted 750Rs, I guess it is too high for a crash guard, and every dealer in Bangalore have his one price one quoted 600, other 650 and 700....
