Does anybody else feel that the bassy sound of the exhaust is lost? I personally feel that the exhaust has become flat over time. Any way through which we can get that sound back?
    I am at 5600kms.

I told this to the engineer that the sound has become harsh rather than sweet, but he said that they don't have any norms to measure exhaust note.
Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.

I stand corrected. Without pillion the bike gulps up the hills ..... Did a 400kms ride to munnar... The bike was 'well behaved'. It gives to full confidence while approaching and departing the bends. Its precise and in total control. The tone and tenor of the bike changes as it climbs higher. I was on 4th and 5th gears mostly and sometimes came down to 3rd. The sweetness of the exhaust changes to muffled grunts...which is sweeter!!!

Some one asked how the bike is while climbing hill...well this i can assure:

Guyz today I got my Black gixxy. Originally I was about to purchase blue one but due to below incidence I opted black on the spot. I got awareness bcz I was following this group from last few weeks.

The incidence is date on suspension was dec 2014 and still he was claiming that this is 2015 model. I denied getting that bike and choose black model having Feb 2015 as date.

Yup, me too. But its not consistent. Sometimes it sounds good, as it should. I suppose a properly warmed up engine gives out that grunty note whereas a cold engine gives a flatter sound.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

              Hey guys!

Quick question. i know this has been brought up a lot before, but still..

2nd service done, and i still feel like i have to exert a force to change gears. To be accurate, the travel is smooth, but then it needs some force for the gear lever to slot into place? Sometimes i find myself stuck in neutral...is this how it is for all of you?

Would like some clarification. And if so, what do i need to tell the SVC? Change the gear/clutch spring??

As they have changed the engine oil,it will get some time to lubricate to get the gears to become smoother...after 200kms post service it will be fine!....... I have also got stuck in false neutral while up-shifting!...This happened only when i try to quick shift from 1st to 2nd!

                    Hello Guys,

I have completed 1400 kms till now, I have checked tank to tank fuel efficiency so i am getting 48kmpl till now. I had my both tyres punctured for two times, I want to know what should i do to avoid this punctures of tyres as it is a tubeless tyres so it is very costly to make its puncture.

If you are in city, the short drives and stop go traffic will make the engine oil slower the lubrication process!....so better run for another 200kms-300kms then update!....If still the problem persists go to your nearest service centre.

My normal mileage under mixed conditions is 45~46kmpl.
Today I have traveled a distance of 75kms at speeds 95~119 and I got mileage of 30kmpl only.
Is this OK? because with my Unicorn at max speeds I used to get 40+kmpl.

Checkout the date on suspension ... I had faced the problem and rejected bike as the date was Dec 2014. He was convincing me that it doesn't matter but it does and now I got another bike with manufacturing date as Feb 2015.

Suspension is not the right place to check...that is just serial code for the part.
The number to check is the chassis. No on the front fork...
Posted this a while back. The 15 16 digits show the month/year of manufacture...

                                Mine had E and 8 or something..meaning August 2014...

There is a specific code to decode the VIN
