I find the fairing very very ugly. The prototype by motorbeam was way better.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
woah that was quick to enter production! Seems like it would make a good 150 cc entry level tourer. The chrome finish on the exhaust tip looks a bit different than our naked ones. The digital dashboard has gone much farther considering it is fixed in one place. I am wondering at that distance, will it be clearly visible to the rider. Can't wait to see a lot of guys making custom mods and stickering on this one. Definitely going to sell like hot cakes for sure.Originally posted by rockin.pavanr View PostSuzuki Gixxer SLK in Production!...To be launched by this month end!

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
On the contrary. I find its definitely among the better looking fairings on bikes in our country.Originally posted by babaji View PostI find the fairing very very ugly. The prototype by motorbeam was way better.
Also, I can clearly see Suzuki have been inspired by their well received 2015 GSX-R-600...[IMG][/IMG]

Desperately hoping its an R15 competitor and not a fazer beater.
Liquid cooling and FI with better engine figures...plzzzz Suzuki!!

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I expected a rear disc version. For a new bike, SLK looks disappointing because its just as if a fairing is modded to the Gixxer. Would have loved some more tweaks like split seat and clip-on handle bars. I hope they considered improvising power and gearing to be like more of a tourer.The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Gixxer is already tall geared...so mechanically this SLK will be identical to Gixxer...Originally posted by Avinash666 View PostI expected a rear disc version. There is a bit of confusion!....Now as per the rumours it would be called Gixxer GSF!......Not Gixxer SLK! Source: bharathautos.com.............Gixxer SLK/GSF design looks similar to GSXR-600

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I definitely would have if I haven't got the naked one already in January! They seem to follow the same design language of their higher cc bikes and this is the closest we can get to owning a smaller and cheaper faired Gixxer. The build quality looks a little cheap when compared to their 600 cc brothers but we can't expect much when it is going to cost sub 1 lakh rupees (if my guess is right, they will prize it a little below the Yamaha Fazer). Will make a really good sports tourer compared to it's naked brother.Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostThe real question - Would you buy it?Owns a baby Gixxer starting Jan '15

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Looks are subjective! For me, I like the looks of this faired Gixxer better than the Fazer. Agree with you on the power figures though. 16 or 17 hp would have been ideal for touring.Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostJust comparing how many FZ's and Fazers are being bought....;
And Fazer looks much much better than this one.
Also in my opinion faired bikes need better power figures for touring.Owns a baby Gixxer starting Jan '15
