I have been using philips extreme vision 55/60 from the last 3 months and there is no sign of battery drain at all. And I am also not using any relay.

I had talked to service manager regarding this before he said unless the wattage is same it would be fine!.....If you use higher wattage and then if in case any electrical problem occurs you won't be able to claim the warranty. This applies even to the Battery!....unless you your service manager is friendly with you!

why tell things to service manager? They never agree to mods. If at all battery/electrical problem arises(which is highly unlikely just because of the extra 30watt load) simply replace the bulb with original and act like nothing happened.

I had tried to replace bulb myself using the required tools but I was unable to remove the front doom...so had to go to service centre to replace the same......If in case any electrical problem occurs...the bike will be there in service centre until it gets rectified..becoz of fault of us!...U should be knowing that the battery of Gixxer is of lower capacity compared to other 150cc bikes and also it is DC..compared to other bikes!...it will surely put an extra load on the battery and ruin the electricals!

Illumination is the same but this is more whiter than yellow.. As it has same wattage!......I could not replace with higher wattage bulbs as it will void the warranty and drain the battery and it also needs a relay and cutout.....Thank you for your appreciation !
Did accessories, dirt splashing, low ground clearance issue come up in the conversation... ?

                      Hi

Yesterday again i filled exactly 1 lt petrol @ reserve. I thought petrol bunk is cheating me. I decided to buy petrol in pet bottle. Today I came to that fault is in my bike. Got mileage of 32.5 kmpl. What should I do know. I went to scv now,but there is no technician avbl. Again I'm planning to go tomorrow. Is anyone facing similar kind of low mileage. I drove near 470 kms till now.

Shall I write to Suzuki India ? Guys need your help... I can't tolerate this..

Low Ground Clearance issue had come up in the conversation... Even I had indicated it -scraped some speedbreakers with Pillon rider! ..Dirt splashing it would solved if you use Engine Guard at the front...at the rear I think they would update to a rear tyre hugger in next updated version...but I did forgot to ask about accessories as in KTM

Actually, the battery is self recharging as you keep running the bike.
At worst maybe your battery life will reduce to 4 yes as opposed to 5.
And as sandeep said he has had no issues using a 55w.

I request you to check the fuel quality..I would suggest you to refill at Shell Pumps and then check the mileage...Mileage check would be precise if you do Full Tank to Tank calculation!.

Reserve-to-reserve method is somewhat accurate method for checking mileage.
Also, most of the bunks in Chennai city has good fuel quality IMO. I haven't seen much of a difference in mileage while switching petrol bunks.

Ask service mechanic to do a mileage test with you sitting as pillion/rider to prove your point, if they don't agree to check the issue.

Step by step bulb replacing procedure is given in owners manual and it is very simple. All you need is allen key and a star screwdriver.
Battery is just a storage unit and nothing else. The bike produces enough more than enough power at 3000rpm to support 55/60w bulb. And radikel has summed up the remaining part.
