Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I visited service center and the guy said that's some loose connection... I rode the bike home... Later it was responding on certain occasions... Now it's completely stopped... Understood its raining heavily since 2-3 days here in Mumbai... But this is a new bike... Should not happen... Not acceptable.Originally posted by Rizwan Khan View Post

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Also my experience in terms of ride quality in rains... Just loved it.... Dropped a cousin to his home yesterday... It was raining heavily... But loved the grip of tyres... The stability... The breaking capacity... It definitely incites a lot of confidence in you to go faster... just like it is mentioned in one of the review video's... Just loving it.

If the problem is persisting even after the SVC guys checking them out then raise a warranty claim and if possible change the self starter kit completelyOriginally posted by Rizwan Khan View PostI visited service center and the guy said that's some loose connection... Your problem will get resolved and moreover you will be happy in your mind that your not driving your new bike with a faulty part
Will give you piece of mind

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I too am facing sudden loss of power at high rpms. Sometimes the bike doesn't pull up. But unlike in your case, this happened while doing 55 ~ 60 kmph on highway. Engine was sufficiently warmed up as I was more than 15 kms into my trip. I opened the throttle, felt a sudden loss of power, like someone gasping for air...and the bike was making out a muffled grunt. luckily, after 3-4 seconds the bike suddenly pulled up and i made it.Originally posted by ldkaj444 View PostHi friends,
I have a problem with my Gixxer . I think it has fueling problems in it, apart from normal morning starts now in monsoon times it kind of doesn't pull when I give revs beyond 3-5k suddenly unless I activate choke. This happens almost every time I park the bike and restart it after a hour or two now in monsoon. After I ride for 1-2 km its all fine.
Is it common or something is wrong. Reply soon
Thanks
Is it the air filter or something with the fuel intake?

Please check under the seat if something is blocking air vents....Originally posted by rev View PostI too am facing sudden loss of power at high rpms. Sometimes the bike doesn't pull up. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Checked. Nothing. I don't keep anything under the seat; or to be specific, nothing near the air filter suction vent, if that's what you're referring to.Originally posted by SKt12 View PostPlease check under the seat if something is blocking air vents....

Something is wrong about fueling in this bike I guess.Originally posted by rev View PostI too am facing sudden loss of power at high rpms. Sometimes the bike doesn't pull up. I faced something similar on my RTR 160, there was water in the tank and carb.
The petrol was drained into bottles and i saw it had water in it.
Once the water was taken out from fuel and carb, it worked fine

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Well not a major issue at all. It's just that the engine of these japs bikes cool very quickly than the iron alloy desi bikes. Just allow the bike to idle for 20 sec then ride. Or else get an iridium spark plug from ngk.
