Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
If you don't know how the repair punctures properly, you could damage the hole even more and render the tyre unusable. This happened to me last year when a road side puncture wala made the hole even bigger and the plug was unable to lock the air inside.Originally posted by Hitesh100 View Post
Ride safe and have fun.

First u need No. 9 T bar socket spanner to unscrew the bolt. May I know why ? I opened once to see the speedometer mechanism.Originally posted by Habshan View PostCan anyone tell me how to open the front sprocket cover?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
It needs a bath. A warm one :POriginally posted by rev View PostRiding in the rains is fun...but then there is the dirty picture...
My shoes were filled with water splashing from front tyres. Mud splash from rear tyres make ride on wet roads a mess. Gixxer design is not commuter friendly...

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
The problem is that my Gixxer has started insisting for a bath every day...Originally posted by srinath2494 View PostIt needs a bath. A warm one :P
You know the kochi weather and the roads...
a few trickles and the roads are flooded...
Can't take the Gixxer on wet roads... The mud splash reaches into the crevices in the engine area...up till where horn is installed...

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I think you can let it simply stand in the rain. You don't have to worry about spoiling the electricals around the horn then. LOL people have reviewed and praised this bike by its performance in rain after allOriginally posted by rev View PostThe problem is that my Gixxer has started insisting for a bath every day...

I should ve made this decision back in december last year itself. But I got carried away by impractical things. Anyway, it was so tough for me to come to a decision between gixxer sf and this. I only felt taking sf inside city tougher due to bulging fairing. And for my physical state, the lighter the bike, the better :P :P And it did impress me cruising on highways at 90 to 100 kmph speeds without ducking in! Its easy to maintain and does the job with style. No vibes at all! Hard learned lesson.

Dynamo, i did it buddy, just followed my instincts.
Yesterday I cleaned and lubed my chain and the front sprocket was ticking ever since. So I wanted to lubricate the front sprocket too.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
You don't want to remove the front sprocket cover for lubing. You can easily insert the nozzle through the gap between the swingarm.Originally posted by Habshan View PostDynamo, i did it buddy, just followed my instincts.
