Managing quite well with 159 mm GC of ZMR in this moonscape.

Sent from my phone. Kindly avoid it while riding.

ZMR is a proper torque monster, and is quite easy to ride in cities as well.
What was your thinking in shifting to scooters?
Also, gixxer low GC is very subjective. Its GC is par for the category, and looks are deceptive. Have not had any issues with bottom scraping at all. And this is riding in moon crater conditions of bangalore[emoji23]

        Thanks Radikel for your response.
Shifted from ZMR to Swish when moved out of Kolkata to Chennai.
And now moved from Chennai to Bangalore.
Due to hassle of State Transfer and Taxes always prefer to sell the vehicle in the state only.
Also with the Gixxer there will not be any tourring, I guess since now have a family.
Hence the dilemna and restricting the budget :P
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

Waiting to sell my Two month old Suzuki Swish scooter by this weekend and then would be ready to go.

          Other suggestions are welcome.
Why not the FZ 2.0 ? Apart from the usual rhetoric that "no good top-end", if you are planning to ride only in the city and keep your bike for quite sometime, its not a bad buy afterall. Has better energy efficiency than the Gixxer and wider service network and from some of my reading elsewhere, you can get the kick-start factory fitted as well.

I've been on a 240 kms ride yesterday. Out of which 40 kms(2-way) had no roads whatsoever. It was under construction. Complete overhaul is going on to shorten the NH and this was an old route. I didn't scrape the bottom even once. Pieces of rocks everywhere ! I thought I'd ruin the tyres, no issues with that though.

However, I did HIT the bottom once, Yes! HIT (with a thump! ), when I gave my friend a lift and went over a hump a bit on the faster side. And the hump was a bit on the larger side as well. I've been careful over humps ever since. No such issues on solo ride though.

Pradeepa, True but as far as GC is concerned on paper both looks same although not aware of real world situation.
And somehow snob attitude of SVC in my earlier instance in another city is driving me away.
Also there are no nearby dealers & SVC at my place which is a major deterrent.

Habshan, Brilliantly summarized and I guess this is the case in most 2W & 4W as well.
              Thanks for your kind help

Do you crave for dhoom bikes? Gixxer SF, else Gixxer Naked.

I'm not recommending any other bike because you're my daddy and you'd have arrived at the Zuki keeping worthy pointers in mind.

Well well ... In the Gixxer thread you are promoting the gas guzzler under-powered FZ , When ever you talk about FZ 2.0 being energy efficiency than the Gixxer do mention that Gixxer in-spite of being more powerful engine that too a carb engine compared to less smaller CC Fuel injection over hyped Bluecore engine deliver almost save efficiency and still cheaper than FZ2.0 .

Few Generic Queries to the forum members.
                    1. Any idea about OTR price in Bangalore
(Since there were some price discrepancies in HYD as seen in earlier pages)
                    2. Do we need to buy Crash Guard, Mirrors, Saree Guard, Foot Rest, Side Stand etc separately.
(Was not the case for Hero Three years back and seems this is the trend)
                    3. Going by the above can any good Samaritans post the break up of the same.
(Would be able to save some dimes and can get it done outside, if feasible)

Not sure if they updated the post-budget prices.

But I am unsure if rusting is covered under warranty.

I read online that Suzuki will replace any rusted part completely free under warranty.
