As I mentioned, everything is just not plug and play. One small bit needs to be welded in the fork right below the key slot, where the frame number is printed. A long metal piece(this should come along with the full faring accessory) has to be bolted to this welded small piece to house the speedo and faring front. Everything else is just fit to existing Gixxer.

After getting the full faring accessory,
    1. Remove the headlight of the Gixxer.
    2. Measure and prepare a metal bit to match the holes in the bigger metal bit which holds the speedo.
    3. Weld the small bit to the frame and get the area painted.
    4. Fixing everything else is just plug and play. Even the existing headlight unit is just the same in SF.

I do not see anywhere in the link where Suzuki has mentioned this cannot be done. Its only the reviewers at OD who say so.
Even they have mentioned "The only other addition to the frame is the hardware needed to mount the fairing." The small bit is the hardware I'm talking about.

Replaced the stock Osram 35/35 with Philips Premium Vision 60/55. Didn't find any remarkable difference in the output brightness still the beam spread is noticably larger giving a wider view window.
The mechanic fixed the light pointing slightly upward. So I couldn't judge the near vision. Though one thing that I noted due to this was that the low beam was better than the earlier high beam. Will adjust the headlight tomorrow and see how much improvement is possible.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

I have put on LED head lamp. It consumes much less power than stock head light and produces lot better output and at the same time, runs lot cooler. Even after hours of use, the glass remains completely cool. Sometimes I get stares from people who look at the light, it sometimes blinds you. Think I need to get a projector setup. Probably will do it while installing the SF faring on mine.

I have also put leds for park lamp, rear number plate lamp and all 4 indicators. All 1W in place of 5W. This is just to reduce the load on battery as I use roots trumpet double horns.

I'm planning on installing an LED headlight too.
Could you let me know which one you installed? Did you do it yourself?
How much did it cost you?
And is there enough space behind the headlight to house the LED bulb heatsink?

Yesterday I had a pillion ride and I went over a hump. The black box between centre stand hit "thump" on it. Does anybody have this issue?
I'm 75 kgs, my friend must be around 70kgs.

Ya its common for all fz's & gixxy's. You can avoid the hit but you need to drive very slow & crossly on the speed breaker. It happens only you have a person in pillion. I had 2 hits in 2 months. But don't have any physical damage just some scratches. How abt urs ?

Replacement of electrical parts or any other part thereof which the company doesn't sell with the unit generally voids warranty of the bike.
This may effect the claim arising in course of any manufacturing defect or manufactured part needing replacement or premature engine seizure or any other claims as per warranty norms. So please be careful when installing add ons.

The key is in such a case when it happens, remove all previously installed extra add ons and then take it to the service centre.

Just a pointer here as many seem unsatisfied with the headlight throw.

                            Hi Guru,
If my guess is correct and if there is a locknut present to hold the front sprocket to the shaft then that nut might have gone lose. Although its just an assumption but just to be on the safe side ask the SVC guys to open the front panel covering the sprockets to check it up once.
Generally sprockets take their time to wear out. And if you found a solution then notify once.

Hey guys. Posting after a long time here. Wanted to know that how do we find out if there is a puncture in the tyre? Since the tires are tubeless, i cannot think of a way of identifying.
