Guys, did anyone use Fully Synthetic oil in Gixxer? I have completed 4000KM till now and thinking about switching from Shell AX7(10w40) to Shell Ultra FS(10w40).
Any other brands that you guys suggest and can I change to FS at this stage? Thanks

Full synthetic is not recommended below 10,000kms.
People speak highly of Motul 300v Factory Line full synthetic. No personal experience though.

When did you switch to AX7? What are your views on it?

Anybody who is having white gixxy here ? I'm not able to maintain it. Bcoz of dust my bike looks dull. Also don't have time to clean my gixxy. Can anyone tell me how you maintain ur white gixxy. I'm planning to do complete white stickering or some transparent stickers to maintain the originality.

I switched to AX7 after 2000 KM and have noticed good response from engine and less stress at higher RPM range (>6k).
Gear up shifts have become smoother but down shifts are still bit clunky. I drained the oil after 2000KM since i ride mostly in NH.

Overall a better oil than stock Suzuki Motul.

My friend got white gixxer recently and I myself have a white bike right now. So I can tell you easy ways to maintain. First give your bike for water wash and polish. Then directly coat the bike with clear sticker on all shiny white panels and tank. Then wipe off the bike after every long and dusty ride. Once in a while you can use water as the clear sticker ll not let the pain fade away.

Not worthy to use 300v on a 150cc bike.

Precisely for the first 500 to 1000kms then you can give short durational rev up to 5k rpm all the way up to 1500kms or more.

IIRC the manual says you should keep it under 4500 rpm for the first 800 kms and then under 7000 rpm for the next 800. And they say that you should stress the engine (but not exceed the recommended rpm) so that the parts wear in properly.

Guys , I am in trouble today in the morning I saw a screw plunged into my rear Tyre ,I checked in the afternoon by pouring some water over it & there is very little air loss . I did't get time to get it repaired . Now I am worried by evening my Tyre would be flat ,but I am taking chances to drive home like that in the evening . So my question is can my Tyre sustain for 12-14 Km if I refill air at petrol shop as the loss of air pressure is small . I would like to repair my puncture my self .
