Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
For open chains, it isn't advisable to use grease. Use chain cleaner and chain lube for same.Originally posted by Rithish Krishna View PostSo, do u guys recommend it or should I use Motul spray ? I won't be using the bike much after next monthThe real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!
Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
You try 3M cleaner & lube. Very cheap compared to motul. Im using it for the past 3 months. Worth buy.Originally posted by Rithish Krishna View PostSo, do u guys recommend it or should I use Motul spray ? I won't be using the bike much after next month

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
yesterday I cleaned my bike chain with kerosene & tooth brush then lubed it with new engine oil because i feel if engine oil can stick to crank shafts at very high temp for lubrication then it can easily lubricate bike chain. What you guys think ?

Yes i Have been thinking it too , also when you remove the number plate you can add a visor at front for wind deflection . but I have a hsrp number plate so bit worried about damaging the sealsOriginally posted by Dynamo View PostI'm thinking of changing my front number plate to bottom of the headlamp assembly (like gixxer SF ) Anybody have idea which bike's number plate & rod connecting these two match for gixxer.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I have seen this with my bike (Hunk) after front fork oil change, It disappeared after some 1k kilometers.Originally posted by Rizwan Khan View PostGuys any advices for bumpy ride feel.
This has nothing to do with the front disc brakes.
If issue persists, ask mechanic to check the front forks.

Adding to what the other members suggested, also check if the tyres are holding the air pressure recommended by Suzuki! If my guess is right, you should be feeling the bumpy ride feel in your handlebar and not from the entire bike. I have this problem too.Originally posted by Rizwan Khan View PostGuys any advices for bumpy ride feel.
My air pressure is normal and suspension works good but on really good roads, I can feel the front wheel wobbling which in turn makes the handlebar wobble a little bit which is noticeable. I have asked for a front wheel replacement which I'll get done in the next two weeks.
I don't know if this is still a problem in current production batches but the initial batches of bikes during launch had this issue.Owns a baby Gixxer starting Jan '15

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Today morning I was cleaning my sparkplug with wire brush. Unfortunately I dropped my sparkplug from 5ft height. Exactly the tip was damaged & somehow I brought back to normal position & I didn't notice any difference. Should I replace the sparkplug or use the same for a while.?Just follow my shadow.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Exactly... I checked the air pressure... Increased and decreased. Asked to release the pressure completely... And then filled it up... Since if the tyre lines are not correctly settled it may cause the problem. The SVC guys relaxed the handlebar also to see if that can help... Still no improvement. They told me that they will get it fixed on first service... Maybe the wheel is not right... Since I experience the wobble on every 2-3 rotations.Originally posted by raintree View PostAdding to what the other members suggested, also check if the tyres are holding the air pressure recommended by Suzuki! Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
This is new bike bro... Don't think this is the initial launch batch model... As I specifically asked for a new model. Where do you check the production date of a bike?Originally posted by raintree View PostAdding to what the other members suggested, also check if the tyres are holding the air pressure recommended by Suzuki!
