    Haha! Thank you Sir !

My bike is around 6 months old. During run-in I rode as per instruction given in the manual in addition to few other things - like slowly accelerating to 6k-7k rpm and then gradually coming down to lower speed, it helps in the mating process I believe, and this too was done after 1st service - which was done around 700 kms.
I haven't tested the top speed during the run-in period, but have crossed the 100km/hr mark after I had done 1600 KM.

Yes, you're absolutely correct- the bike do sets in to the style of our riding. Will get everything checked in due time.

Please stick to stock until you cross 4k or 5k km or at least that much
Isn't Shell AX5 mineral? Heard it's at par with motul stock that suzuki offers. People have used Valvoline 4T premium in their GS150 and the result were positive also it's very popular among pulsar owners. Since Valvo is SS oil I won't be using it anytime soon unless untill 4k kms. May give shell a try if iI find one, else would be sticking to stock oil.

Yours is a relatively new bike and don't expect much for 2 more services. Meanwhile gradually rise the throttle with time and km. Accelerating and slowing down gradually and all is okay but it depends on how frequently you did and how the engine was otherwise. Ride more with a greater revv limiter so that you dont slowdown once you see the light coming at 5k rpm. And as you mentioned, you have done it after 1st service so I believe you need to wait and gradually increase the throttle from now on, atleast. Its good that you havent crossed 100kmph before run in but I also doubt if you had under revved the engine during the same time :P :P Anyway, you are free to revv now, so try to red line occasionally check how the bike performs and returns mileage when ridden hard.

Stick to stock, I insist. There are a few owners here who have used shell ax7 I guess and have not given any extraordinary result than stock. Anyway if you are looking to improve acceleration and mileage, changing oil wouldn't cause any noticeable improvement.

            Daily observations of my bike:

            1. It is becoming smoother day by day.
            2. Reduced air pressure is actually such a drab to ride. Makes the bike a little unstable on uneven roads and higher speeds. I had to ride constantly checking if I punctured the tyres on such roads until I reached the next bunk to inflate tyres.
            3. The rear mudguard is such a pain. In tight traffic, most of the vehicles behind tend to scrape it. Hope there was something like FZ's, confined within the bike's length. I got a few scratches today.
            4. I found a drop in acceleration as I started today. But after some good 4-5km, the bike pulls like it used to. This was the first time and happening only today. Engine warm up is crucial.
            5. Fueling has become smooth. Maybe I got used to the snappy throttle in 1st gear.
            6. Braking is superb when pumped.
            7. The engine doesn't drop the revvs as quick as it revvs. This wasn't the case in my older bike.
            8. Horn is so puny. People wearing helmets and in cars won't even notice it. Planning to install double horn soon.

                Hi.

Motul 10w40 is the stock oil recommended by Suzuki. Personally I don't have any idea abt other brand oils. My suggestion is better to stick with motul 10w40 stock oil.

are there any improvement or any advantage over Caltex or Castrol lubricants?
I’m asking here coz going through all pages bit difficult hence expecting you review about "motul 10W 40"
Plain and simple. This is much debated. This seems never ending. If you want to experiment then do it. Nobody here has used castrol or caltex and that doesn't seems to be popular here in India.

If you can't find people experimenting with oils in your vicinity, then your try is this forum. Even if its not here, then try other sources. Else you can safely conclude that you are going to be the lab rat for experimenting. It wouldn't be great to post it in the forum as people would say that this oil falls under such and such category(mineral, synthetic etc.) and hence wouldn't harm or will not be suitable to your engine. And all that is mostly from experiences from other bikes and extending the same logic. Mechanics suggest the same way too. Best is to get an engineer from suzuki to answer this. But thats a far reach and so think before you experiment.

Note: This may not extend to this bike. Consider that possibility before posting and be sure to experiment if you want to know how it works.

                  Important: Stick to stock, please.

                  Thanks.

Does Gixxer come with fully synthetic oil from factory?

If it is 4k kms for Suzuki, it is 6k kms drain interval for Hero Honda with their OE mineral oil, as per manual!
But it is good to replace engine oil around 2k if you're using mineral oil for any bike.
