One common question , when you guys park the bike for a long time (in the night @ home, morning @ office...etc) will you turn off the fuel ? Is it recommended ?

Yes it is! that's why the fuel knob is provided! And it's the primary thing given in the manual too. Do read it and it's a must for every bike with a carburetor. If you don't the engine might get flooded with fuel and create problems in starting and running. I wonder how many don't turn it off, now.

        and 50%on labour charge
Assured gift to all gixxer costumer .

I called and asked them as most gixxers are new they would be in free service and this won't help.the reply I got is if you wanna change any part then you get discount. nothing else. weird.
I think it's cheating/cunning if they're sending these invites/promotions to new bike owners only.
Let see if any near Riya Suzuki avails this service for a paid service.

Guys for few days I found an Issue with my bike its seems quite minor right now but worried if it could come out to be a problem later.

I hear small tak-tak sound when I rotate my rear wheel, might be coming from front chain roller not sure but comes when the wheel rotates. Has some one faced similar issue . I have done 2700 km till now on my gixxy

Just take it to ur SVC & ask them to align the chain & also check for any slack in chain. This can be done @ ur nearest local mechanic for 20 bucks.

Why using additives?? It'll ruin ur engine anyway. If possible, use engine flush/flash at 10k kms interval. It'll flush clean the engine internals. A must for mineral oil users.

Just to extract some extra power.

Additives are used to increase petrol quality AFAIK, but its useless in small engines. Better go for a iridium spark plug

I've used ADON additive marketed by IOC petrol bunks. The engine became smooth which may not be noticeable to a great extent in our Gixxers(as our engines are already smooth), but it really worked wonders in Pulsar 200NS. My 200NS friend used Penzzoil additive before but the result with ADON was much better.

Well gixxer uses motul brand oil. And rather than using additives, one should opt for semi synthetic oil as it is rather cheap than additives, also u need a full tank to add additives, like 10 liter of petrol or so.

In what way these additives affect my engine ?

Fuel additives comprise of several chemicals. Some of them are harmful for the environment. Then there are certain bio elements inside the additives which can cause potential harm to the engine if not used properly.
