Also manual recommends tyre pressure of 29 and 33.. Is that right?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Brother. Everything is fine. It seems you just took the bike. You will need some time to get used to the seating position. Smell of a fresh engine you are talking about. I don't feel so major. But do check if it stays for longOriginally posted by benryu View PostThe smell is too overwhelming. Every time i idle that smell is there. Yuck.
Hardly drove the bike for 6-8kms after delivery and bike started choking. Luckily was close to petrol bunk and filled up. Have to complain to dealer don't think they filled 1 litre as promised.
Guys I'm having pain in right ankle and little bit on right shoulder. Is this something to do with my seating posture? I noticed my left wrist was straight while the right wrist was slightly bent toward the left and not straight. Its not the Bike that makes a Biker perfect, its a Biker who makes his Bike perfect :)

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
hello all,
Got my Gixxer dual-tone delivered on 16th of sept. I ride a Bullet from the last 13yrs, so coming from that bike, this bike feels pure bliss. No vibrations and super smooth engine and good pick up. I have retained the bullet and will restore it fully in the next three months and use it on weekends. Gixxer will be for weekdays and city driving.
What I like about Gixxer
1. Good build quality(not the plastics, but the metal frame and the shocks and everything else)
2. Super smooth engine
3. Good pick up
4. Great city drive-ability(can go from 30 on 5th gear and from 20 on 4th)
5. Good looks(but its sleek, not macho like yamaha FZ)
6. Dual tone colour looks smashing
7. Nice console with time, gear indicator, RPM indicator and Eco/Power indication
8. comes with kick, side stand, choke and main stand as standard
What I dont like
1. Its sleek looks
2. HORN
3. Rear looks - oddly designed mudguard
4. Its get really muddy and soiled if driven on wet surfaces after/during rain
5. Pillion seat - Its too small and painful for well built people
Issues
1. Head light throw (its up on trees, both low and high beam)
2. tuk-tuk noise while bike is moving
Have done 120kms till now and loving the experience

Headlight issue i too had.. Went to svc n they lowered it and its all good now..
Sleek?[emoji19]
I find it more muscular than Fz..Even the reviews say so.. And the rear is a lot better than others.. Especially that boring look of fz n pulsar 200 ns..

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Bro hold your clutch fully and shift gears, and after 500 kms once the bike starts adapting your way of shifting it will be smoother than what you expect!! Ride safe !! Congrats on your new bike!!Originally posted by benryu View PostI kinda feel that gear shifting is hard. Yamaha and bajaj was butter smooth when i test drove.
