I was waiting for a suggestion like this, Thank you very much.

Bike didn't stay in water, but many times I drove in water of depth about 30cm.

And I rev my bike hard, NO HARSH or RASH riding but I drive in high RPM(shifting gears at about 5k RPM)...Will this damage the coil?

Took screenshot of your suggestions and I am leaving to SVC immediately.

    Thank you once again.[emoji1]

If they find no problems...atleast check ur idele RPM. Set it to 1500 when u start the bike, with no throttle.

I was also in Chennai during that time and was driving in hip high waters. My silencer and wheels were completely submerged a lot of times. There was no other way so I took the bike to my home town, and just now returned to Chennai again.

All I had was water wash and new engine oil at my home town. Chain slack had to be adjusted as it was making noise since the chain was in water for more than 3 weeks, all lubes gone. I did chain lubing myself.

Sad part is now I see lots n lots of vehicles in the SVC and also nearby mechanic shops. It's overcrowded with vehicles now.[emoji17]

Tomorrow I was planning to give my bike for 3rd service, but looking at the crowd they will take a minimum of 2-3 days to service.
Guys if any of you have any plans on purchasing used bikes, now is not the time, lot of these bikes in the mechanic shops are going to be on sale soon.

It had a bit kerosene type of smell.. After that i only fill up at the mentioned pump and that is the only nearest one that provides good fuel and xtra premium.. U might consider to check your fuel.. The first issue too can be from this..
Yes I hope this should be the reason for this issue...Usually I fill fuel from Bharath Petroleum SPEED PETROL, bunk situated 5 kms away from my home, a trustable bunk...Due to some reasons I was in a situation to fill fuel from Bharath Petroleum SPEED PETROL but different dealer situated 300 meters from my home who is a cheat, knowingly I filled here 4 to 5 times...my mistake!![emoji20]

How about SHELL petrol? Does it have any performance petrol like SPEED petrol something like that?

When I start my bike in neutral and clutch not engaged after ignition the IDLE RPM is at 1.5k and after engaging clutch with gear in neutral the RPM goes down a bit and when I change to 1st gear with clutch engaged for few seconds the RPM goes down further and when I continue engaging clutch without leaving it the bike turns OFF.

This is exact situation happening when I take U-turn or turn from my small street...Neutral...1st gear...clutch engaged for few seconds...the bike goes off...Then I start it again rev hard to maintain the RPM and continue riding.

I am sorry buddy, I am out of suggestions for this strange issue.

Which SVC are you taking the bike now?

Do the idle rpm adjustment only when engine is heated to normal operating temp usually after 10-15 mins . Turn the screw clockwise till the engine begings to lose on breath , now slowly start in anti-clockwise and do it till you reach the required rpm , do only a half turn of screw at a time

[MENTION=5235]rahul[/MENTION] - idle can also become unreliable like this from bad fuel . If you noticed the problem after filling from unknown pump check that first . 3 things usually happen a) water in fuel - I once drained more than 1 liter of water from the fuel tank after a single fill from a bad pump . Given the recent flood situation in your city , many pumps are likely to have water at the bottom of their underground tanks - depending on how their storage tanks are build .
You can check this by unscrewing the carburetor float drain screw and collecting the drained fuel in a clear bottle . If you keep fuel petcock in open position during this , the carburetor shall be flushed also .
If water is found inside fuel tank , you'll have to take tank off the bike , drain all fuel , remove fuel-petcock , clean inside with detergent & water and dry in sun for a day or two . Then fit it back again and fill good fuel .
                          b) adulterated fuel - can't do nothing much about it , burn it off by riding and avoid that pump .
                          c) dirt in carb or clogged idle jet . have to open carb and clean them . simple job .

Don't worry , there is no way bike is damaged from riding or from bad fuel or defective coil either . Repairing shall restore the bike fully . No problem .

Punture was fixed immediately. Again today i checked for any leak by spraying detergent diluted in water. No leak at all. I suspect the tyre side walls may be the problem for leak.

Check the tyre pressure and the bolts

Did they identify the issue. If so did they fix it.

It would be helpful for all of us if the cause/solution is known. Thanks
