Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Thank you for your suggestion @pbandewar. Did my first servicing today at 901 kms. Adjusted the headlight as you said. They replaced the engine oil and it's filter. Just shelled out 350 bucks. They have put in the Motul SS 10w40. They said that lubrication of the chain is not required now even if it is mentioned in service book. They will do it in second service. Recently did a trip of 520 kms (before first service), got a mileage of 55 kmpl which is beyond my expectations. Rode it between 55-65 kmph 80% of the trip.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostActually stock headlights are good if you adjust the screw below the headlight. Adjust the screw such that dipper light should fall on the ground.
I am posting the electrical diagram of Gixxer(Naked), thought might help our community. (i searched it on google a lot but couldn't find it, so finally took a snap from their service center)

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
You are welcome. And do buy 3M chain lube. Works best for Gixxer. Don't go for Motul. Lube the chain every 500Km. That makes the ride smoother. You will immediately notice less vibrations after chain lube. I drive my Gixxer at mixed speed like many times touching 95. So I usually get 46 to 47 Kmpl. Which is good.Originally posted by tutul278 View PostThank you for your suggestion @pbandewar. Did my first servicing today at 901 kms. Adjusted the headlight as you said. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Confused here, does the underlined Manufacturer part number makes a difference in viscosity or application? They both look same but differ in quantity & priceOriginally posted by [email protected] View PostYou are welcome. And do buy 3M chain lube. Works best for Gixxer. Don't go for Motul. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Buy it from amazon.in. Because I bought that from Amazon and no problem regarding quality.. Also the seller is cloudtail which is amazon itself. So you can always trust cloudtail seller than flipkarts third party seller. Also do buy 3M chain clean if possible. and then watch that powerdrift video regarding chain lube on YouTubeOriginally posted by tutul278 View PostConfused here, does the underlined Manufacturer part number makes a difference in viscosity or application? Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Guys is anyone facing problems with thier rims? My wheel was wobbling and I went to service center and the guy told me the rim is bended and I'll need to buy a new one costing around 6k I mean what? My bike is just 3 months old rode like 2500 and I don't remember jumping my bike off a cliff what do I do now to avoid this kind of shit I didn't brought the rs 200 (r15 is very common) because of the allow wheel and gear box stuff I didn't wanted a unreliable bike which kept asking for random parts and thought of buying a good product but sf turned me down can a rim could be repaired since this sucked up bike is giving me no more than 38 no matter how I ride it.
Any one face this problem with gixxer 155..Last edited by subham351990; 01-21-2016, 08:16 PM.

Did you hit a deep pothole on high speed? That might be the reason. Generally they are very strong- i hit a pothole (nearly 5 inches deep 3 feet at length) at 60 kmph, nothing happened to my rim though. Front suspension absorbed it.
This should be covered under insurance isn't it?
