Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
No recall, nothing. I pointed out this at two SVCs. They rub it off. Then within few days, the rust comes back. Contacted suzuki via email. They asked me to take the bike to nearest svc for inspection. Again same procedure - rubbing off. Again after few days, rust reappeared.Originally posted by EthanReddington View PostDidn't suzuki recall the affected bikes last year?? They replaced it as i read somewhere..
Then i tweeted the issue to Suzuki2wheelers; raised a complaint through website, and tweeted the complaint reference number. Later svc rang me up and asked me to send the photos, which i did. The service engineer later informed me that they cant do anything about it.
I am left stranded. Don't know what to do. Feeling ditched...

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
That's the service center to be blamed.. They are ignoring orders i see.. Because suzuki officially announced the replacement.. It would be good if you showed them the newsOriginally posted by rev View PostNo recall, nothing. I pointed out this at two SVCs. They rub it off. Then within few days, the rust comes back. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Try to get it replaced at another service center. Actually some service centres are worst in terms of customer service. So try other service centerOriginally posted by rev View PostNo recall, nothing. I pointed out this at two SVCs. They rub it off. Then within few days, the rust comes back. I would say go to SVC and then change it.may cost you some money.SVC are hopeless when it comes to warranty claim .Originally posted by rev View PostNo recall, nothing. I may as well say it's not the bike cover because I use a bike cover and I don't face the issue. Few others may also be out there without facing this issue despite using bike covers. But it's weird to see those tiny points without paint. I can't think of a reason clearly.
From an assertive 'it's the bike cover' in the previous post to 'may be because of bike cover' now eh?
Haha check with other darker colors. I feel it could be the case for fewer pieces.
I can show you exceptions like this. The front suspension in my bike is matte black and it's the case for only a few others; perhaps they are of the same batch. Very hard to spot on road. Prolly one of you guys could have one too. Most gixxers have shiny-black front suspension. The shinier ones face paint peel-off easily even though they run on smooth roads without dirt. This is weird too in my view point haha.Last edited by srinath2494; 01-14-2016, 11:05 PM.
