Once removed the chrome cup u can see the iron holders on the left & right.

We need to adjust the 2 left holders towards swing arm side. Match the 2 holders in perfect position then adjust the right holders fitted with rubber cap towards same swing arm side to get the grip hold.

It usually take less than 5 mins.
Whats the reason behind this issue?

Is anyone's rear tyre wobbled after a puncture ? My bike's rear tyre got punctured 3 days back. Now there is no air leak from the tyre but i feel the mild wobble. Tried many ideas like releasing entire air & filling again to the prescribed level, checked any air leak from the tyre mouth, adjusted the chain. Nothing works. Going to reach 13k kms in next 2 or 3 days.

Will wait for your inputs. If nothing works i'll change the tyre ( planning for Michelin )

There is no specific reason. There is a gap between the cap & exhaust if anything scratched or gets contact with the cap immediately the will come off like this. We need to reduce the gap between cap 7 exhaust as short as possible.

Has anyone tried Castrol engine oil with Gixxer? If so how's the performance? The SVC here uses 10w40 Motul engine oil..

No. In my experience castrol semisythetic doesn't perform well in gixxer. Sluggish acceleration and low mileage.. Only benefit is less temperature of the engine.. Try other oils like shell ax7 or elf moto.. Ax7 perfect for gixxer because it is 10w40. Try to use any 10w40 oils from shell, elf or motul

Which type oil you want to buy.. Seni or fully synthetic? Elf is good i think elf mineral is better than shell semisythetic... But generally elf oils are not available in 10w40 grade.. That's not a problem try elf 20w40.. They have semisythetic and fully synthetic oils available.. Motul have heating prblm..not that much.. But happens that

I think you have a cold climate in your area.. Then stick to 10w40 oils.. Try fully synthetic oils

Any motorcycle oil needs at least 15 to 20 min to warm up completely.

I would suggest a 10w30 JASO-MA2 for riders/motorcyclists with less than 30 kms average journey.

Absolutely there is no leak. The same pressure is maintaining.

Hi guys , recently got the bike serviced and I guess the SVC guys changed the IDLE RPM settings . The bike now revs at 1,700 rpm in idle warm condition , I feel its too high . What say ? Whats the default idle rpm ?
Cause 1 + 1 is always equal to two :P

Guys I have some issues with my bike...

1.) IDLE RPM is automatically lowered and the bike is switched OFF... I tried adjusting IDLING screw but it doesn't work[emoji20] ...this happens whet I start the bike and change to 1st gear or stopping for traffic and changing to 1st gear( CLUTCH FULLY ENGAGED THROTTLE FULLY CLOSED, the RPM goes down)...what might be the reason for this? And what is the solution?

2.) At particular RPM around 3k to 4k there is no throttle response for me...the bike behaves same as it behaves when we ride the bike by turning the petrol tank nob to OFF position or like when the bike hits reserve...when I open the throttle a bit more it becomes normal...I am having this issue for past 1 month, for this issue I doubted there is some problem with air filter, on checking this with SVC they said air filter is absolutely fine...service mechanic rode the bike nearly for 3 kms and he couldn't spot any issue, I returned from SVC but problem persisted, again after few days I went to SVC for same issue and I returned back with no solution, SVC guys got my face registered as I went there often, but no use[emoji19]

Later I approached my uncle for a solution, we both approached a local mechanic, who said, "coil might have damaged, you leave bike here I will check to it" I was not sure which coil he was talking about but I was not convinced to leave my bike to a local mechanic.

Not only these two issues I have some more, but these two are major issues for now.

SERIOUSLY I GOT FED UP...NEED SOME DEFINITE SOLUTION...GUYS HELP ME OUT PLEASE..!![emoji29]

The 2nd issue that you have posted was faced by me twice and both were when i used adulterated fuel.. The pump from where i generally fill (xtra premium) was empty so filled up at another pump.. Later i came to know it wasn't of good quality.. Engine response was bit degraded.. It had a bit kerosene type of smell.. After that i only fill up at the mentioned pump and that is the only nearest one that provides good fuel and xtra premium.. U might consider to check your fuel.. The first issue too can be from this..

Very good decision , never leave bike with anyone . Seeing that you are from Chennai, did your bike stay in water for sometime ? If so, how deeply ? The problem you mention can be from 2 things a) dirt or water in carburetor b) wet / rusty / water-damaged / shorty ignition coil . I am strongly suspecting the coil because if it was carburetor , Suzuki service would have found it at once .
                                Check the ignition-coil , ignition cable , spark-plug cap & spark plug . Check ignition current .
