Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
In my place it is being sold in small packets of 5ml which costs Rs.9.Originally posted by Dynamo View PostADON sell those in bottles or in small packets ? What is the cost ?
I've also used Nulon additive which did nothing but a drop in mileage.

And rather than using additives, one should opt for semi synthetic oil as it is rather cheap than additives, also u need a full tank to add additives, like 10 liter of petrol or so.Last edited by sandeepcf; 06-28-2015, 10:16 PM.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
i too have faced same problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9mhlqRUNawOriginally posted by Freak inExile View PostIt's the Float issue not overflow-valve.l
If gasoline is coming out overflow tube:
1. Check the bike's orientation, is it standing right up or on the ground
2. Check drain-screw : someone might be stealing your precious
3. Stuck Float : it's spring loaded to block fuel inflow when float-bowl is full.
In your case, it's a stuck-float, a tap let it loose.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
My friend who owns a Gixxer had tried 3M additive for engine oil...which lasts for 1000kms...he said there is a bump in performance and also a drastic increase in mileage!Originally posted by Dynamo View PostHave anyone tried fuel additives for Gixxer ? Any good brand avbl in the market ?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Actually it's not a issue..it's the sound of the speed sensor which is connected to the chain in the front...The sound will gradually decrease after you clock some kms (5000kms)....Chain Clean and Lube will reduce the noise..Usually in other bikes you find the speed sensor which connected to the front wheel!Originally posted by Hitesh100 View PostGuys for few days I found an Issue with my bike its seems quite minor right now but worried if it could come out to be a problem later.
I hear small tak-tak sound when I rotate my rear wheel, might be coming from front chain roller not sure but comes when the wheel rotates. Has some one faced similar issue . I have done 2700 km till now on my gixxy

I own a Gixxer..even my gixxer had the tak-tak sound...I had argued the same with Service Manager....He later clarified issue...By checking other Gixxer in the showroom and service centre...even it had the tak-tak sound and later showed the gixxer where a speed sensor was removed and tested it,the sound had disappeared!Originally posted by Hitesh100 View PostThanks buddy , can any one (Gixxerian

Hi
I think there is no connection with speed sensor. If you remove the sensor cover there is a deep hole onto it & exactly the front sprocket is mounted with some metal objects for sensing our travel speed. The metal object is on the sprocket perfectly sets into the hole provide for the speedo & there is enough gap bt the sensor & the metal object. Few months back i even tried by removing the front sprocket cover & rotated the wheel by hand to find the exact location of the noise. If any one of the sprockets is misaligned & chains not perfectly seating into the sprocket teeth's this will create the noise. Lubing will solve the issue temporarily but definitely chain alignment should be done.Just follow my shadow.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Don't go for cheap Chinese aftermarket levers. They have sharp edges. In case of a crash you may end up with a chopped finger.Originally posted by probike View PostHello friends,
