Gixxer uses MRF rev z 140/70-17 Tyre at rear , being a soft compound tire it has excellent grip on good roads but poor performance on bad roads & prone to punctures . So those having having issues with this Tyre should upgrade to MRF Zaper Q 140/70-17 as its bit harder than the rev z .

Took my buddy's SF for a spin today. When my friends saw the bike, they gave pretty much the same reaction that they gave when I rode my Gixxer to them for the first time. Few of them even went ahead and said I should have waited a few more months as the SF looks better than the naked one. Didn't know how to react to that. I felt jealous, I guess. Its like someone comparing my Gf to some other pretty girl! [emoji53]
I love the street fighter look of the naked Gixxer.
Does SF looks really that much better than the Gixxer or is it just perspective?

It is not even perspective. It is your unstable mind. Why would you even use the gf analogy here :P treat your bike like you share a separate and exclusive chemistry with it. Like a partner, of course like a machine too :P but before that, don't look back at your decision as gixxer has more advantages than sf anyday :P And please be more matured to not be swayed by comments like this and don't ask it as though it's a psychiatric problem :P It's just that you still have some bits of the child you were in your heart

gixxer owners from Chennai please suggest
I arranged money and want to book gixxer as soon as possible
Pramaaan quoted me 89400 including on road+crash guard+number plate(not Ind) +affidavit for address proof +Teflon coating and they will deliver me the bike within 2-3 days
is it a good deal? and how reliable is Pramaaan Suzuki?
actually blue gixxer is rarely available in Chennai so thinking to give the full money and book by tomorrow
and one more thing on road price in the website is 85898 but they are asking 86900(almost all the dealers are asking same or more)
actually this is my first bike that too with my own money that's why little tensed

Did any one felt like speedometer is displaying wrong speed ? More like 8-15km more. I feel so. Is there any possibility to this ? Or is this just my 'feeling'.? How to properly check this ?

Both are biriyani but different in taste
And you cant blame taste of each of them
And they are loved according to their tastes
They are uniquely distinct from each other though they are both biriyanis
So eat what you love the most but i urge others not to get into the argument of naked is better than faired
They are both biriyani for gods sake
Eat them
Eat em while they are smoking hot and leave argument aside

got my bike from them a couple of weeks back. You need to sit on their heads and get things done. I went there because it was just a stone's throw from my house.

You're right actually. In the matter of my Gixxer, I become childish. I just love it so much and keep thinking how superior it is to others! [emoji14] 6months now and not even a single scratch. Keep it clean, polished and lubed all the time. Leave alone tripling, I don't even allow an overweight pillion (even if its a lady!).

all motorcycles shows wrong speed, especially at higher speeds. there is always a little error in speedometer. it's normal

I should've given a disclaimer that I knew there is a separate thread for sf, but since I'm not getting an answer there plus considering the two bikes have identical mechanicals and the same brake pads, posting this query here made sense.

Coming back, if anyone has an answer to this query let me know the solution.
