Diesel has worse effect on O-Rings as it bloats them up; kerosene has lesser such effect on O-Rings than WD-40 !

Like it's shown in the video shared few posts before, being thrifty/stingy on clean/lube spray helps over being generous/plentiful.

How much it will cost for chain cleaner spray ?

Well have researched on this and internet says diesel on o-ring chains aren't a bad choice. Don't remember from where I got that information (like IIN).

OK. Check after tuning so that you will know what they did.

Don't rev hard. Keep it below 4.5k RPM till first service.

Guys my second service is in between 3500 - 4000km. Ride is now at 2500km. Engine is feeling bit hard nowadays. Also it is hard to down the gear (say stopping the bike after from 5th gear. When we brig the gear down 4 3 2 1 we feel like each of them have an extra gear in between [emoji14]) Don't know why. The gear thing is happens only some times though. Checked the oil level. Attaching the photo here. Is this OK ?

oil level seems fine. initial days engine runs bit hot due to more wear and tear and initial run-in. for the gear change get the clutch adjusted. 10 mins work.
also pull the lever completely and then change gear. should work.

                      • How to fetch maximum mileage?

                        Hey friends..
                        Am new to biking...
Please give me practical suggestions to max mileage..

                        ( About my bike
                        I have Gixxer(155cc)
                        ran 4000 kms(3 months old)
I am getting very bad mileage of 20-26kmpl[emoji21] [emoji21]
As others Gixxer users have mentioned they get 40-45..

I usually shift before 5000rpm and rev up to 6500rpm
                        On highways I maintain 7000rpm

I have visited service centre twice regarding mileage issues no use of that..
Even have followed the correct break in procedures mentioned in the manual.. )

                        Thanks[emoji3]

Very poor mileage. Things to be taken care.

                          Maintain correct air pressure.
Do check CO level in SVC
                          Maintain correct chain ply
Don't change the fuel pump for filling. Fill in Shell bunks.
For better mileage u've to maintain 4.5k rpm & max 6k rpm.
                          Don't use clutch unnecessarily.
                          Should not accelerate hard.
                          Don't shift gears very frequently.

If ur SVC is not responding to ur words then look for some other alternative. Try other Suzuki SVC or complain to Suzuki.
Also check ur sparkplug tip to findout how the combustion is. If the plug is in dark black you should definitely require some AFR tuning.

You should read your manual in and out first.

Brother this was already addressed. Both user and workshop manual are not available on web till now. Or its not been brought into picture still.

Problems with reading a hard copy?

It's more because of higher torque to weight ratio that pulled your light weight naked forward and also quicker! And also more torque coming very much down the rev range.

'but on longer run CBR was able to take over the gixxy.' - This is due to the power packed engine of the CBR150R giving it some unbelievable top speed for a 150.

Sorry to bring the old post back. But this made my fingers cringe to post as well as brag about the torquey engine of the gixxer :P
