Before 1st service you have to keep the rpm below 4.5k(which is 60 KMPH in speedo). After 1st service and 800 to 1K KM, you can rev the engine till 7K RPM (95KMPH on speedo). Details regarding RPM limit are given in the manual.Originally posted by Mani Dz View Posti mean its not yet to down to reserve, still running on main fuel, but close to reserve within 2kms it may get to reserve when i check fuel inside tank. i'll update exact mileage later.
i'm testing out the mileage, when fuel came to reserve i've reset Trip B meter, and on next station i filled 1L of fuel and changed the knock to main. you see its still running for fuel 1L, already rode 68.8kms. is this able to achieve this mileage figure, what yours opinion ?

i got first service. so should i go around 80-90 also ? if i do not is my engine only set around 65kms ? can't i go smooth over this anymore ? i need your suggestion.

you can use Trib A and Trib B meters when you need it. for me i using Trip A for next service calculation and Trip B for mileage calculation.
to reset the trip meters,
i) select the meter first (use SEL button in the console)
ii) then reset the meter, to count mileage or whatever (hold ADJ button in the console)
The bike can go more than that but doesn't want to do it easily as it does around 90KMPH.

Could you please tell me how you manage to get 57kmpl?
Cause I'm having a hard time getting 43kmpl...1st service done..1.2k kms..
I don't accelerate very hard. Same city+highway mixed riding as you..
Do ride at 4.5k rpm?
How fast do you go when you are on a highway?
Kindly help...thank you

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Bro,Originally posted by Jagzxbhp View PostAnyone felt jerking at 3rd gear in 3000-3500 rpms?? If I keep the throttle fixed in these rpms the bike is jerking like it does when it comes to a reserve, ie accelerating and decelerating at the same time, can somebody please verify this?? When I'm opening the throttle more its vanished, but keeping it constant is giving this jerking issue 😞
Actually I am also facing the same problem for past 4 days, I was not able to realize that I am facing similar problem, I thought I forgot to turn the fuel tank knob to ON position but and then I remembered your post and replying to it.
Please help me out..!!
Did you come out with a solution for this issue?
Is this issue solved for you now or still you have this issue?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
My bike not even a year old and got 4 servicings done with authorised service center.since tje 3rd I have asked the svc fellow that the steering is not moving free and thud sounds come even on d normal pothole.they didn't even look into the issue.finally when I showed to the local fellow he told that the cone set is gone along with steering balls.typically it would not have got so worse had the SVC looked into it which at the 4th service d guy accepted.but as he didn't have any parts told me to leave my bike for 2 days.I refused and after a week bought the cone set for 280 bucks and steering balls for 80 bucks.
Labour of rs.200.
Now its done and my gixxy is as good as new.I am not against the SVC but their basic intent is to complete service as fast as possible as they have other vehicles to attend to.in fact they didn't even lube basic parts during last service.my faithful old mechanic atleast listens to me.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Still Have That Jerking Issue. I'll show it to showroom, and claim warranty on Carburettor if nothing good comes from them AFAIK, this is a choke issue, the cable seems to be stretched at some point. :-)Originally posted by Rahul N View PostBro,

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Are you a new rider? Because this happened after the svc guys adjusted the clutch to factory default.. Try adjusting the clutch.. It has nothing to do with carburetor..Originally posted by Rahul N View PostBro,

Green or red?Originally posted by love_my_gixxer View PostHey guys I went for service of my gixxer today & saw this new "high performance synthetic oil" provided by suzuki for gixxer. It is also 10w40 & is manufactured by idemitsu & costs Rs.390. The earlier one which was being used was for Rs.290. Sorry about the bad picture quality.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
At 4000 rpm, with clutch lever decompressed, its jerking, ie at a certain rpm, it has nothing to do with clutch or plates or anything in between.Originally posted by EthanReddington View PostAre you a new rider?
