I always kick start bike in the morning. But after rain electric start has no response. Not a single sound also. Showed at SVC too and he said has to check wiring and stuff. But bike would start with a single kick at such time..

Sorry saar, for misinterpretation of the issue!!!

Did you try spraying wd40 on the switches and then try ?

    Cheers,
    Sanjay

      Hi all,
I observed some noise coming from the crank case/rear sprocket area. Some one had mentioned in the previous posts that the mis alignment between the front & rear sprockets produces a peculiar noise from the chain. I am not sure of the mis alignment, but after riding for about 15 km I wanted to check the chain slack & touched it. It (chain) was warm (I mean higher than room temperature). May be it is because of excessive friction due to mis alignment or the heat dissipated thru the engine/crank case area of the front sprocket to the chain, I am not sure. Any body facing chain heating issue & that peculiar noise can throw some light on this.

PS: No issues with chain lubrication.

Ran over a pothole. :-/ I hear some squeaky sound whenever I ride over a speed breaker or on uneven roads. As if some nuts are loose. What might be the problem?

Shock absorbers.. Or the weight on the bike.. Its normal... Do be careful not to scrape the bottom part

Yeah. Today they called new to schedule for first service. Informed them about the issue and it will be fixed during service.

Be rude to them if they ignore the issue.. Cause that's how it works

Yea. Actually the other day i went to SVC and he was like no one has complained about this issue. Told him i know lot of people who had same problem and it was fixed by replacing the switch. He was like who is telling you all this wrong stuff. I was like go read bike forums people all over the country have the problem. Then he accepted and said he will order for new switch.

I didn't face such.. But they instantly said ok lets open up n see... And they repaired.. I still get no response sometimes after pressing the switch but its rare.. Have seen on other bikes too including my friends apache 180.. But the rain issue was irritating.. Unacceptable.. Glad its fixed..

Its a new model.. So expect some minor glitches.. Even pulsars n apaches had and still has some issues..

Has anyone have any experience with Suzuki's own 10W40 engine oil? Recently went to a SVC to service my bike. Astonishingly they replaced all of their motul oil with this new full synthetic oil. They say its standard now & they're even pouring these on brand new bikes. My bike is 3000 km old and since the oil was not pricey, just Rs 390/- a bottle (Pretty cheap for full synthetic) I went with the change. Ridden 50+ kms post oil change, haven't noticed any difference yet.

we rode my gixxy to off-road for few kilometers. after that it's looks more crazy with Dirt. little tough to ride at very soft mud road not only this bike any on-road bike, so harder experience for some kilometers. so here is some pictures (Gixxer Dual Tone),
