Are you sure about what you just said.

Lets talk about the mileage figures from honda on some bikes :

Unicorn 53kmpl upon thrashing and 57kmpl.upon sedate riding.

Honda cbr250r 31-34kmpl upon thrashing and for once one member achieved a whopping 46kmpl.

What are you expecting in terms of mileage?

A 100kmpl from honda unicorn ? Or 60kmpl from cbr babies?

    Cheers,
    Sanjay

Unicorn will be the more fuel efficient bike here, but looks very much reserved and commuteRISH. If looks are not a concern and mileage ia you are looking forward to, then hands down on unicorn160.

Now, I can imagine your riding style. You're riding Gixxer like a 100cc mileage motorcycle.

Let it loose and have fun every now and then at least. It's good for both you and your motorcycle.

Just take ARAI mileage as final and call it a truce.

A motorcycle should be capable of delivering 80% of its ARAI mileage figures.

Ask the dealer why they are over charging? And tell them u r gonna complaint to suzuki. Initially suzuki was prompt in responding to complaints. But now it seems they lost the momentum. Anyhow there is a facebook page for suzuki india. Just send a message to them.

suzuki has partnered with STUDDS and has come out with a helmet. supposed to be available in three sizes, the one i checked was 58, price is fixed at 2199. its a motocross helmet. no air vents on top. only two near mouth peice, and its netted not button type air switch. quality is acceptable but not in leagues of LS2, SOL, MT. Lid is strong, i would rate it 7/10 and visor is scratch resistant. helmet looks very cool. it is made up of moto gp version of gixxer sf colours. available at all dealers

You might want to get a formal quotation with SVC on the letter-head. This will serve you as a base to raise a complaint with Suzuki Mgmt.

                        Thanks guys for the replies...!
Watched some reviews on youtube from Zeegnition, Autocar and Choosemybike from their reviews Gixxer gave an average of 48-50kmpl and Unicorn 160 gave about 55-58kmpl 😨.
Both have tank of same fuel capacity but Unicorn 160 has range of 660kms thats quite surprising.

Thank you brother for your reply. I already got a formal quotation. But they did not split the amount. Its like bike ex Showroom price + road tax insurance etc. I will ask them to split those up and will post here.
                          Thanks again [emoji4]

Some weird stuff happened yesterday while I was filling fuel in my bike.

The gauge was showing 1 bar, and was flashing, so I assumed that the bike had about 2-4 lts left. I usually fill it when it's on the last bar. I normally go to a shell petrol pump, and they put in about 8-9 lts to give me a full tank.

I went to another pump, and they put in almost 11.9 lts! This is the second time I've had the pump guy fill in 11+ lts. I didn't visit the first pump again, as I thought I'd been cheated, but here I saw the guy pumping in the fuel.
Was he overfilling? Or was the gauge rigged? Or do these machines have some way to show me zero, but not actually reset?

The tanks capacity is 12 lts, and I hadn't hit reserve yet, so I'm sure I was conned, but I don't know how yet.

Don't believe in the meter shown on the bike as it will never show correct figures. The bike had to be straight and on main stand them only you can come to know how much fuel you have. More over always trust or I should put it this way fill your bike when it comes to reserve. While going to the pumps they always chest. Today by reading your post o remembered my time when I first bought my pulsar.
